she sipped her drink, then set it down. " Who did you hear it from? "

"A friend." The man grumbled. "Look, I need someone dead. Think you two can do it?"
"Us two?" Wraith eyed the man carefully. "This kind of thing is usually a one man job."

She didn't say anything, but he was right. It was usually a one man(or woman) job.

"Ah, but it's more than that." The man grumbled. "I need a whole group of people killed and I'm fairly sure one of you can't do it on your own."

I've killed groups of people before...by myself. she thought. She still said nothing, just decided to see where this will go.

"So tell us... Who're we after?" Wraith raised an eyebrow as the man huffed.
"They're out of town. About two days' worth of travelling South. Nasty men. Need them cleaned out of the streets- every one of them. The quicker the better."

Still, she didn't say anything. She was still deciding whether to accept or decline.

"So, are you in?" The man looked from Wraith to Ciki and back. The drow was also considering the offer. "How much?"
"Fifty thousand each."

" Hm. I'm in. "

"Fair enough. When do we get paid?" Wraith raised an eyebrow as the man smiled.
"After you've finished taking care of them, I'll pay you in full."
