A fire burned and consumed the food. "That's a good sign." Anna said with a smile.

Morpheus's eyes widened and he nodded, he hadn't even thought about what his dad might think if he never came home and now that he did, he wanted to call him and let him know he was alright.

Isri
Isri smiled too, feeling satisfied, she sat back down and started to slowly and politely (for lack of a better term) eat her food

Carol nodded and pulled him aside. "We aren't supposed to have phones because they attract monsters, but I have one. You can tell him the whole truth or part of it and if you tell him the truth you can ask if you are going to be staying the entire year or only the summers." She handed him the phone.

Isri
Anna had the appetite of a horse and ate several plates. Lawrence and Laiden shared a pomegranate and nothing more. Eva ate like a normal person except her eyes stared intently around her.

Morpheus
Carol nodded and pulled him aside. "We aren't supposed to have phones because they attract monsters, but I have one. Isri smiled to herself, and made sure to finish all her food. After she was done she looked around quizzically, where was she supposed to put the dirty plates, and utensils

Morpheus's dad picked up. "Hello, Morpheus, you haven't gotten in trouble at wildness school already have you." He said teasingly

The wood nymphs came over and swept the plates and utensils away.

he swallowed nervously and replied in Gaelic "ah, well I-I'm not really sure. It wasn't my fault but..." He trailed off, at a loss for words on how to explain to his dad what had happened

Isri watched them go and turned her attention back to their little group.

The Queen of the Hippocampi was stolen by a fearsome monster, the Kraken. It was a long fight and the Kraken got me in the side but I survived and banished the monster to Tartarus. I brought back the Queen, though she was scared she was unharmed, back to my father. He was overjoyed to have the Queen back, Posiden was having trouble controlling the restless Hippocampi. In return for bringing the Queen back, I was given a pegasus that will guide me and always stay with me. Meet Blizzard."

He felt his shoulders sag with relief but a slight feeling of resentment wormed it's way into his thoughts, why hadn't he been told? "Y-You knuw?"

She listend politely, enthralled by the tale. At the mention of the pegasus she perked up and looked for it

(I think I might have isri make her first sound when she sees the pegasus, since rn I imagine they think she just can't talk / somethings wrong with her vocal chords)

"No, not 100%, but once i never saw your mother again and how you just appeared at our doorstep I was guessing, but I didn't want to say until I knew."

Isri
Anna caught her expression and smiled. She concentrated as if calling someone with her mind. Blizzard came down. She had a dark blue coat and a silver mane.
