Alastor eyes widen slightly when his name was called but be came calm once more. He looked at his little sister can see she is crying. He knelled down to Apollo's level and whipped her tears. "It's okay Apollo because before you know it I will be back okay," Alastor said with calmness and a small smile at his little sister. His little sister nods her head. Alastor smiled and kissed his little sister's forehead. "I love you my little sun," Alastor said. "I- I - I love you to big brother," Apollo said crying. She hugs her big brother some more. Alastor pats her back and gives her a hug back. He stops hugging her and walks to the carriage with a sad sigh.

Malis was shocked when his name was called out. "Why would they want me I am just someone working at a family own tavern," Malis thought to himself. He sighed and slithered into the carriage after he said his goodbye to his family.

bouncing up and down i race past Erika and the others in the room, shoving and pushing my way through the crowd of people in front of the hotel, making my way towards the carriage.

there are others making their way there too, and i quickly join the line to climb into the carriage, tapping my foot excitedly. i can't believe i got chosen! i've never been near the magicless forest in my life! what's it like?

before i know it, everyone is sitting in the carriage, and i can't help but look in wonder at Queen Valentina, then all the other Queens. the carriage is a little squished, but i don't mind. i look around at the other people, nervously waiting for someone to say something.


" i assume you know why you're here?" it's amunet, the Queen of Baecuria who speaks up. her tail is curled up close to her torso, burgundy scales gleaming in the dim lighting. i nod, unable to find my voice.

Shivering a little from.... stress?.... the small brownish lion edges his way into the carriage, transforming back into a human as he reaches the edge of the crowd.

Thema stayed quiet, out of discomfort of her sitting situation she is never fond of crowded places, and she didn't want people to know she had a stutter she wasn't ready for how they may react to it, Angelo glared at the queen before pushing the person next to him giving him some room to breathe, he growled annoyed but kept his cool

He wasn't very talkative and wasn't planning on doing so, he pulled at his cross earring on his left ear just listening to her and the others

"very good" Amunet says, nodding. "then i suppose we should skip the formalities and get right to it. you will each be given a pack with rope, a blanket, and some packaged foods and a machete" she says, glancing at the other queens "and you will be sent into the forest with this book" she pulls a book out of her bag, with a worn cover and old pages.

"this book is the only book we have on the magicless forest, made by the one and only person to enter and come back" she explains, slipping the item back in her bag. my eyes go wide, i thought no one could survive in the magicless forest!?

"If I may ask but who was the only one that could survive in the magicless forest your majesty?" Alastor asked politely and also wondering who could be this person.

Malis stayed silent to hear the answer because he thought no one could survive the magicless forest and coming back alive.

Caspian's mind is racing, but a glimmer of hope surfaces as he thinks, maybe if someone else could survive the Magicless forest.... we can too.

He knew that he already had some basic hunting and foraging skills from his younger years so he could manage not to starve for a while but his primary red coloring would also give him away fairly quickly in that forest. The idea that they would not be the first to go into this place and that there may be a way to survive it reasured him a bit as he curled his fire colored tail around him.

She just nodded and stayed still,she was glad to see someone with enthusiasm but she was scared out her mind,she was to young to die, she shared a look with Angelo and sighed, she didn't know him but atleast they felt the same way

Angelo just sighed and looked out the carrier, he didn't agree with the fact that they want us to go die for them but he had nothing to say at all, besides they called up a child to come Along, unless it was a really short man
