The picture works if it's an illusion so humans don't look at him funny...or he could be half-elven. The other half being Dragonborn, manifesting as protective scales under his clothes or something. But a great character. That's all that is needed to be fixed for him to be accepted.

Since he's a really bad magic user, I can absolutely make him half-elven. Seems like it would make for some pretty cool lore to have a tribe of half-elves with dragon blood that lost their ability to become full 'dragons' over time because of their hybrid blood.

What I mean was that his parents were an elf and a dragonborn, that he was unique. But your idea works well. The fact of the matter is this roleplay was a half-baked idea anyway. It's something I came up with on the drive home from school. To be honest, it needs fleshing out, and I will gladly accept that lore.

Personality: Carina appears cold and cruel but she never actually acts that way. She only threatens people scare them into doing what needs to be done. And so now people just assume she is cruel. She is feisty and loves a good fight, but knows not to rush into anything. She always will enjoy a good book or two in her room by herself. One thing to know though is that any man who takes interest in her will always be either turned down or killed for annoying her. She can't stand men who are idiots and act like they are above women. She will accept any women who show an interest though, but she is a bit afraid of starting a long lasting relationship because the first one she started ended in her death in the raid.

Backstory: She was in the woods with her friend training with wooden swords when they both heard a horn alerting of an attack on their village. When they got there Carina saw one sister dead and her dad fighting off someone so her mom and other sister could escape. She went to help but was too late and her dad was killed. The person turned to her and she closed her eyes in fear. She felt a burning white hot pain in her right eye and when she opened her eyes she could only see out of her left. And on the ground was the person, completely dead and she had the rapier and dagger in her hands. She went to look for her mom and sister but they were gone, so she went to find her friend and she was also dead. She was distraught because her father, little sister, and girlfriend had all been killed. She vowed that every person that was part of that raid would die, and after two months they were. At the time she got the bluethorn she had just turned 18 two weeks prior.
