(Karina's done, I'll finish Orion soon)
-Name-
Karina (Kara)
-Gender-
Female
-Age-
19
-Species-
Magician
-Bio-
Her planet is dark and mysterious as is most of the residents inside of it. The planet is held together by a dark fog that the inhabitants who are magically inclined can manipulate to their own will. The fog plays tricks and illusions on the eye and draw off the power of the viewer, the more the person believes they say it, the more real it becomes until it can nearly feel solid. The leaders of the planet all always conquering the planets nearby seeking to expand past the original planet where they found the fog, as the original planet lacks vegetation and most life forms.
Kara is an apprentice magician coming up on her last few years of training when she found out a dark secret about the fog. The fog draws power off of fear, and fades in the presence of hope and fire. That's why they constantly are at war with neighboring areas, to set fear into the minds of those around them.
-Personality-
Like all people from her planet, she was taught at a young age to deceive manipulate and hide the parts of you which were seen as weak. Therefore her real personality is hidden under layers of masks. To most people, she acts naive and not very self-confident. She pretends to be not observant and extremely frank and forgetful. It seems like she's not always there at the moment and extremely kind-hearted to everyone.
On the other hand, once you earn her trust, you soon see she is actually reserved and skeptical of everyone. She observes everyone for ticks and tells she can use to decipher what they really mean despite their words. She's often quite indecisive and doesn't really know who to believe. Therefore she often jumps between sides of an argument. However, if you manage to really annoy her and get her mad, she won't hesitate to fight or devise a scheme against you.
-Likes-
Cold, dark, mysteries, acting
-Dislikes-
Other people keeping secrets from her, things that don't have a clearly defined right or wrong, fire
-Appearance-
Something like that I suppose, she has silvery white hair and a much darker eye color. Like the type of red where it almost looks kinda brown? but whenever she uses the power her eyes get around that bright of a red color.
-Planet-
Canopus
-Extra-
If you need me to explain the fog thing tell me.

-Name-
Orion
-Gender-
Male
-Age-
21
-Species-
Part time Ghost....
Basically he can turn into a spirit which means he turns into a cloud of vapor that can pass through walls and stuff like that, but he can't physically interact with or speak. However when he turns back human, say he floated a mile, it would have felt like he just ran a mile. But whenever he goes into human form, he's just a normal human.
-Bio-
His planet was one of the place Canopus had conquered. Most of the people in his home country have passive powers that allow for simple things in life to run smoother, therefore when Canopus came, they had nothing to do except surrender for fear of death.
The leader of Canopus took a liking to Orion as he was both a skilled strategist and adapt in different situations with different weapons. In order to keep himself from become like the rest of his planet, he accepted the leaders offer to become one of his strategist and military advisers.
-Personality-
He's fast thinking and quick on his feet, he's good on playing with people's strengths and weaknesses, however he does get haughty sometimes and is easily manipulated by praise. While he usually does wish the best for everyone with his actions, he always tries to manipulate a situation to benefit himself.
He's usually calm and collected, and once you get to know him you realize he's quite friendly and a little bit goofy. Since he doesn't want to become like the Canopus people he works for he tries his best to help out others instead of just staring down his nose at them.
-Likes-
Eavesdropping, flowers, fighting
-Dislikes-
Bullies, the dark, small spaces
-Appearance-
I guess? he has dark hair which is slightly purple in the light and he has bluish purple eyes. (Although if its fine with you because the thing is sci fi, one of his eyes is digital but the only thing it really allows for is for basically like photographic memory...but if its more focused on fantasy just ignore this part)
-Planet-
Canopus (technically, but his original planet was Cion)
-Extra-
(Neither of the pictures are my art) |
Will ping when finished
Please forgive my crappy worldbuilding
Ayyy let's dump the OCs I made in 5th grade and promptly forgot about
asdfadsf this RP is begging to use Erwen but I've used him too much recently
-Name-
Cillian Herschel
-Gender-
Male
-Age-
22-ish (well he's been 22 for the past few hundred or something years, so... idk)
-Species-
Pheauxian (Kestrel, even though his last name has something to do with deer lol)
I need better species names oops
The messengers and wanderers of Ixkhara, they roam the world, never staying in once place for long. They are thought to draw energy from the stars and moon, and are mostly nocturnal, although starlight and moonlight are like coffee for them so they can go several days without sleeping on full moons. Their cloaks, which are generally soft colors (regardless of their creature's actual color), starry (you can only really tell in the darkness though), and made of whatever material the creature would have in real life (scales, feathers, fur, etc.), absorb moonlight, which can be used to transform them into a starry celestial-like creature at night, and this is the form they spend most of their nights in.
As for the messenger part, if you're able to hail one at night, you can ask them to deliver a message (verbally or with a literal paper) to another person - they'll (usually) get there the next night and never fail to find the recipient. (Which is very helpful since there aren't any great reliable, fast ways of delivering messages in this world). They say the stars tell them who needs messages delivered suspicious, and so you're bound to see one if you have a message.
Obviously, they can't transform without their cloaks, which are beginning to be highly sought after because magical properties and whatnot. They won't die, but it'll really suck and Cillian might even manage to be more surly. But it's not that easy, because it has to either be given away freely or the owner needs to be dead.
Also, if they die, they become starlight/moonlight the next night, which becomes another Pheauxi the next full moon, so I guess they get to be sorta reincarnated? Fun?
I swear I meant to summarize.
-Bio-
The Pheaux see lunar eclipses as bad omens, the only nights no messages are delivered. (But solar eclipses are fine, yay)
Guess who was unlucky enough to be star-born during a lunar eclipse?
He spent most of the first part of his life trying to prove that he wasn't cursed or an utter failure (which he mostly wasn't). The next part was him having an existential crisis and wondering whether everyone was right. Then eventually he gave up. Pheauxi aren't social creatures, anyways, and he figured if he could just avoid everyone and carry on with his business, that would be good enough for him.
Since then, he's been doing his message-delivering thing, though not as much as the others. It's not big enough of a deviation to get him hunted down and there's no one to stop him from doing it, so he's been traveling the world as well and trying not to get shot out of the sky.
-Personality-
Almost always surly and blunt, he'll just ignore any attempts made at politeness and probably irritate everyone with his sullen demeanor until they leave. Despite his constant grumbling to be left alone, he doesn't mind company as long as they keep out of his way and don't annoy him.
If he likes you, he'll ignore you slightly less and might actually talk in a civil manner. If he doesn't, good luck getting a response out of him other than, "Shut up, buttercup."
He seems to be annoyingly placid most of the time (not on purpose), other than getting severely annoyed at people every now and then, and it's pretty difficult to really anger him, but he also can hold a grudge to the rest of eternity without ever forgetting or forgiving, and an apology isn't good enough.
During social gatherings, he'll just stand there with absolutely zero input, and it will be funny if someone notices the sparkly bird guy standing in the corner.
When he does say anything, it's usually either sarcastic or blunt, he has no idea how to step around feelings and doesn't care.
-Likes-
Nighttime, flying, soft things
-Dislikes-
Cats, people who talk a lot, really bright sunlight
-Appearance-
(slightly annoyed because Google keeps giving me Todoroki pics and I have no clue why, I think this might be a person from a video game but idc anymore)
(Not my art and neither is the above linked pic, just imagine he's holding a silvery-blue feather cloak thingy instead of a jacket, is more glowy, and looks twice as ticked off)
-Planet-
Ixkhara
Ixkhara is a magical paradise almost devoid of 'unnatural' things. Nature rules the life here and most beings are content to play their role in the world - in fact, the few who deviate are seen as outcasts who will probably bring about the apocalypse.
-Extra-
ISTJ (-A), 5' 10" in human form
"I put the stars in the sky!"
"You know, to someone who believes every star is a lost loved one, that sounds terrible."
Oh, and he also has terrible hand-eye coordination and aim, like if he tried to play tennis he'd just end up repeatedly hitting himself in the face oooh I should add that to my list of weird OC things to commission

-Name-
Tessa (or Tess) Finchley
-Gender-
Female
-Age-
19
-Species-
Azelphi (singular Azelphus)
Pfft this is weird because they're usually not humanoid
Secretive and mysterious, they are said to be able to sense ripples or even waves in the orderly ocean of reality that precede a great change, and such a 'ripple' is a cause for great celebration for them no matter if it is a good change or bad change (they can't tell) - usually the only time they are seen, heralding a great change in the world. They are exquisite dancers and that is how they express their joy over the change - through dancing.
Most of them are quite small in stature and almost never get more than 5 feet tall. They can hover a few inches off the ground (which they usually do rather than walking) but not really fly, and their clothing is beautiful, made from naturally dropped flower petals that never decay. They are normally found (if found at all) in groups ranging from 4-5, and each group has their own unique dance (like a group name, almost). They also tend to communicate through dance (they can talk, but prefer to act like bees because why not lol).
-Bio-
Please forgive me, I'm horrible at these
When she was young, she was separated from her group during a storm and thrown into the 'real world'. There, she saw change as not just a magnificent thing, but as fickle and often worrying, as there was often no way to tell whether it was for the better or worse. Though she was eventually reunited with the others, it was not the same. She was less reluctant to dance and celebrate. When the next great wave came, she was terrified of what it would bring, and for good reason, too. The next day, a tornado swept the forest so many Azelphi called home, no doubt killing many of them. She was devastated and swore never to dance again, but that didn't last long with her personality. She lived in solitude for awhile before *waves hands vaguely* this happened.
-Personality-
Cheerful, glass half full optimism. It's difficult to get her down longer than a few minutes, as she can see the silver lining in literally anything. Her happiness and boundless energy can be irritating, as she just doesn't understand why anyone would want to be sad and is always focused on cheering people up even if they don't want it. Despite this, she is really quite likeable and charismatic - they say laughter is contagious, after all.
She is difficult to lie to and is good at catching little details other people miss. However, she believes that things are always black and white, good or bad, with no in between. Even if something is in that 'gray area', she'll assign it as one or the other and refuses to believe otherwise.
-Likes-
The sound of rain, sweet-smelling flowers, bright colors, dancing (obviously)
-Dislikes-
Pessimism, cold weather, being dirty
-Appearance-
(not my art)
-Planet-
Ixkhara
-Extra-
ENFP (-A), 4' 9" for anyone who cares
Her first name is actually meant to be Tesseract but she hates it and has gone without it so long, she doesn't even think of it as her name anymore. |
