Akaro

Jumping back in shock at the surprise attack from the new wolf Akaro growled low in his throat. "hey dude i don't care if you are an alpha or the lowest ranked wolf in the pack. There is no need for more fighting especially when i didn't do anything wrong" he said with a glare. Turning away from Malinon he looked over at Tobio "Are you ok did he hurt you??" he said softly his voice filled with concern.


Emeri

Slipping from the bushes she began to wander along an old deer trail heading slowly away from the battle ground. Howling loudly she called again and again for her brother but to no response only her echos calling back. *Ohhh brother where are you, mum and the others?? And for that matter where am i??* she thought. Looking around she found she was well and truly lost within the maze of trees.

Kobei

Settled in the sun looking down from a high rock Kobei watched as wolves slowly began to leave the gathering while searching for their pack mates and family members. His pack had been lucky having only just arrived when the fight happened most had survived the initial attack though many had been badly injured and later died from their wounds. That included his father the Alpha, Suien the pack Moon Singer, Nekai the Healer and several of the fighters leaving the pack weakened and scared.

Malinon

he watched Akaro unobtrusively ready to attack. "TOBIO! LEAVE! GO TO USURPING WOODS! THE SURVIVORS OF OUR PACK ARE THEIR" he growled anger and hatred in his voice.



Tobio

she ignored her brother. "I am alright, it's just a scratch" she flattened her ears and glared at her brother. "Malinon. Brother. many other packs have been split up so whats the point of me staying with you. i am always last, i am basically the runt of the pack! even pups are ahead of me!" she retaliated and limped towards Akaro's side while watching Malinon. "maybe i don't want to stay with the pack Alpha" she growled and backed away from her brother. "Maybe i want to have some freedom". the word Freedom hung in the air creating even more tension.

Akaro

Still ignoring Malinon Akaro continued to speak "You would be welcome to join my sister's pack Wildfire though we are much smaller now. We are a female led pack so with our alpha dead it will fall to Emeri the oldest she-wolf to takeover the pack. All females are give equal or higher roles than most males though our fighters are mostly male" he said looking at Tobio. "Once i can find Emeri we will most likely go join our sister-pack Stormlight led by Taige the oldest brother of our last alpha if he still lives that is."

Emeri

As she searched Emeri soon found a faint scent trail leading away from the battle it was a wolf but not one she recognized pausing she pondered for a moment wondering if she should follow it or head away in the opposite direction. As a shiver ran down her spine she looked up noting the sky was beginning to darken as stome clouds formed above making a choice she headed away searching for shelter. As the rain began to pelt down she picked up her pace finally lying down under a broken tree branch.

Kobei and Reia

As the sky opened and the rain poured down Kobei raced down the rock joined his pack in a shallow cave where they had stopped for the night. Taking a look around his eyes roamed of each of the gathered wolves spotting Reia in one corner he flicked his tail to call her quietly. Responding with a sigh Reia got up "What do you want??" She said grumpily before thinking again "i mean yes alpha what do you want??" Ignoring her snarky attitude Kobei looked out at the rain "We will need food once the rain has stopped if we are to get back to our territory so the minute the rain stops i want you to lead the all bar four of the hunters out to hunt while the rest stay to protect up" he said softly. Nodding with understanding Reia responded "Ok i will get the pack ready"

Tobio

"sounds like a nice pack. well. my brother' she growled "he has made the pack specialise in raw power and speed. if your not strong or fast you get left behind." she then glared at her brother Malinon with pure hatred in her eyes.


Malinon

he stared baffled 'my sister is going to leave for a random pack! she is going to leave her home! FOR A PATHETIC PACK!' he thought and then growled "if your going to leave the pack sister Tobio. then i may as well kill you here and now. remember what the rules for leaving the pack are~" he seamed to be having a bit of fun now. 'if you abandon the pack your closes relative or your Alpha has the right to tear your throught out apon hearing of your abandonment." he growled. "and i am both closest relative and Alpha" he stared at Tobio with cold uncaring eyes.

Akaro

Growling and baring his teeth "Do you really want to try that right now?? After there's one of you and two of us" Akaro said. "Besides you're no alpha of mine which means if you hurt or kill her i can and will fight back beating and maybe killing you. So if i was you i'd be smart and leave rather than lose my pack before i had even been an alpha" With his fur bristling he faced Malinon drawing back his lips he waited for a response.

Emeri

Falling into a restless sleep Emeri whimpered memories from the fight swirling like leaves around her head. As she tossed and turned her paws raced across the ground carving holes in the dirt.

Reia

Gathering her chosen wolves she headed out into the damp misty forest. Following scent trails she tracked her way towards a lush green valley where herds of deer grazed signaling to the pack they split off heading for a elderly deer near the edge of the meadow. Attacking swiftly they brought her down a few of the other wolves also catching fawns dragging their catches back they were greeted with joyful howls

Malinon

he growled and turned his back on you and tobio. "next time we meat dear sister. you WILL die" he growled and walked away angrily.

Tobio

she exhaled the air she was holding on to "you have no right to call me sister nor i you brother, as tradition speaks so shall i follow." she replied at his retreating form and howled one long sad note that, if any of her pack heard, would let them know she has left the pack. "Akaro thank you for defending me" she bowed her head slightly and brought it back up. "so shall we find the rest of your pack?" she asked calmly as if nothing had happened.

Akaro

"You're welcome no wolf has the right to stop you from being happy" he said nodding. "Come with me the few survivors of our pack will be waiting at Sky-Bright Ridge. Hopefully we will find my sister on the way." Turning away from the battleground Akaro headed off to the right following a well marked path towards a sharply pointed line of rock that rose high into the sky.


Emeri

Finally woken by her growling stomach Emeri headed off still unsure as to where she was. Swinging her head from side to side she soon picked out a well used path for prey.


Kobei

Settled with his pack he enjoyed a rest before standing and giving a loud howl "Ok everyone it's time we headed for Pine Vale the valley may be only safe place for us to stay for a long time. We will go in a creis formation with pups and expecting females in the middle while the hunters, fighters and other wolves around the outer edges." Waiting as the wolves gathered he stared out at the forest, a sudden spike of fear racing though him.

Malinon

after arriving to were the rest of his pack was he howled to get their attention. "Tobio has abandoned us. if anyone sees her in the future kill her on sight, deserters of the pack are not acceptable." he growled his pack now counted only had 12. 2 pups, 8 females and himself and another male. "for now we stay here we will soon leave for Deep Cave Ravine and after that we will look for lone wolves who wish to join a pack but only if they are strong enough and fast enough to catch me or Flame." he then sat down and watched the surroundings. 'only 2 males.. this is no good no good at all' he thought remembering how tobio looked when he attacked her and how she sounded upon announcing she was leaving the pack.

Tobio

she nodded limping along slightly behind Akaro only being able to use 3 legs due to an injury she was quite fast. "so what is your pack like? does your pack specialise in anything? just curious is all" she said as she sniffed the air and looked at the path. "can you smell rabbits? i can smell at least a small group maybe 5 or 6 should we go after them or just keep going?" she looked of to the right still sniffing the air and looking at the ground in front and behind the both of us.

Akaro

"Akaro nodded "Ok let's take a moment to hunt the pack will be hungry by now. Well we are a close knit group so the number of losses has hit us hard both emotionally and physically. We were led by our last leader and her mate for many years and many wolves were born and died within that time. Most males leave when they reach 18 moons so this would of been my last gathering with my family. The females get to choose if they want to stay or go and will be welcomed back in if they return," Pausing as they got close to the warren he sniffed deeply watching and waiting for a rabbit. In a lowered voice he said "The females are our main hunters and leaders and healers. When they are pregnant or nursing they temporarily get a higher rank within the pack giving them access to better food, sleeping space and protection when travelling." Suddenly he froze burying his nose into the dirt.


Kobei

Traveling away from the den Kobei and his pack moved quickly following pathways through the forest to their home territory deep within a pine tree grove. It felt like much longer that they had left rather than a one moon ago. As a sigh ran though the group they all picked up speed heading down into the valley.

Tobio

she nodded realising that you and her were downwind she still stayed back but went as close to the ground as she could so as not to spook the rabbits if they could see her at all. she stayed motionless and quiet her nose so close to the dirt that when she breathed the dirt moved. 'Akaro's pack seems nice. Akaro seams nice as well' she thought as she watched him hoping that the rabbits couldn't smell the blood from her injuries.


Malinon

he sighed and laid down as the other members of his pack chattered to each other. the females were talking about who the female alpha would be, they couldn't decide amongst themselves since the one female that would of made a perfect match had died and they were also talking about how they would find lone wolves out were Malinon wanted to go. they didn't bother Malinon as they could tell that the loss of his sister Tobio was weighing heavily on him as her older brother and Alpha. when they were younger Malinon would spend all day training her to be better then everyone else that he had grown attached to her.

Malinon closed his eyes and dreamed of when he and tobio were younger and were training together. he missed those days when tobio saw him as her howl world... 'when did it change?' he wondered 'when did she become so.. so.. distant?' he thought as he fell asleep the rest of the pack talking to each other sadly not bothering Malinon as he fell asleep.
