Silver was drawing simply at a table in the kitchen(?) with a pencil and a few crayons. He smiled and looked up as he heard someone come home.

Soren fiddled with a random piece of scrap metal he'd picked up from somewhere as he slouched in the chair?, sneakers propped up carelessly on the table, something that would probably have gotten him in trouble back when he could've gotten in trouble. It was more difficult to get in trouble when you were one of the oldest people here, and they broke the rules on a daily basis to survive, anyways. Then again, you could also die if you broke the rules. He wasn't sure if dying counted as getting in trouble or not, but he much preferred the latter.

Silver ran a hand through his hair. "Hey,you think maybe this is how things'll look when they get better?" he asked Soren at the table,holding up his drawing of some tree's and a bright blue sky. Birds and flowers of beautiful colors. Silver as 14 and still loved to draw and think of things as sunny one day.Soon,he thought,soon things would get better.Somehow.

Ema glanced up from her sewing. She was working on a torn shirt. "Xan..."
"Don't wanna hear it. Sneakers on the table. Acid gets on sneakers. Table gets destroyed, and the guy who could actually do repairs is already dead." he grumbled.
Understandilbly, Alex was a litlte more then mad since his adoptive older brother had died some time back and Finn, who'd practically been with Alex and Ema since forever, deserted them for a killer group.

(Yayyyyy I finally found Soren a good reference picture that doesn't look like a gangster)
Soren glanced warily at Xan. Normally he'd probably sit on the table with his feet on the chair instead, just to annoy him, but he obligingly took his feet off the table. No use needling him right now.
"Maybe," he said, happy to entertain the younger boy, although to be honest, he didn't think any of them would live long enough to see that happen. It looked like a paradise, something out of a book... Dashiell would've read. He blinked and looked away, refusing to think about what had happened to his best friend, either.
(Yay, let's kill Dash for the fun of it *cough* Orca wait what happened to Phoenix and the Hatoris, then...?)

Silver grinned happily,nodding. He then turned the paper over and then began sketching something else. He really liked that the older boy had said maybe,because that meant that there might be hope other than in his heart. 'That's all we need,hope!' He thought happily.
