the guards on the wall fired arrows into the treas not sure what they were firing at as hendric started to fight someone who just emerged from the trees. the sound of steel on steel rand threw the still air and more soldiers emerged from the forest intent on overpowering Hendric. the blue blade glowed slightly as he cut down the soldiers one after another . a black arrown fletched with crow feathers sliced threw his sholder he swaped the sword to the left hand and continued fighting as his right arm lag limp at his side.

She saw her soldiers getting cut down and wanted to do something to help, and suddenly had to block an attack from the back. Her maid was trying to fend off another attacker, so she had to fight this one on her own. But she had 0 trouble doing so.

he rolled to his right the arrow snapping and causing him more pain as a sword sliced threw his leg. he jumped back up and savagely fought. his right arm un-usable and his right leg sliced threw. he took down another 10 enemy soldiers when another arrow hit he left leg going in one side and out the other. he fell yo his knees still fighting his opponents threw the pain that blurred his vision. "I SHALL NOT FALL TILL THE ROYAL FAMILY IS SAFE!" he yelled standing up again and slashing threw the enemy spinning around and around as if he were dancing. the enemy started to retreat as he advanced cutting down the enemy before he fell to an arrow in his right arm.

She quickly cut downher attacker and stabbed the one attacking her maid, then moved to the next attacker.

the enemy's retreated from a large group of 700. now a small group of about 70 or 80 ran off into the forest leaving their dead behind. Ben ran to Hendric and checked his pulse "He is alive!" he yelled and the others cheered "Hendric we will get you to the healer don't worry. you killed a lot of them you turned the tide of the battle bro. you might be promoted to the personal guard of one of the royal family" he said to hendric as he dragged him towards the palace as the rest of the soldiers started to count their losses.

She finished off the attackers and gave her sword to the maid, walking back towards the castle. She wanted to know what this was all about.

Ben dragged henderic to the wall before collapsing. "damn you hendric why are you so heavy!" he said and sighed. "i should remove those arrows" he then carefully started to remove the arrows. he used stripps of his own cloak to wrap up the wounds that hendric sustained. after a few minutes hendric opened up his eyes again. "Ben... is the... royal family safe... did we win..." he whispered and ben nodded "yes hendric we won the battle" hendric then started to get up. "Ben. im going to go and survey the field. you cant stop me." he started to walk limping and nearly falling with every step. he scanned the battlefield then spotted Gemini La Kanos walking back towards the palace. he bowed as she neared him.

She stopped, seeing him. " You're wounded. Lyla. " She snapped her fingers, and her maid appeared with bandages. " Let her bandage you. " She said.

he raised from his bow. "my lady. it is nothing but a scratch i will be fine in but a few days." he said calmly as he eyed the forest. "those who attempted to attack the palace were from overseas i have never fought men like them before." he said as if he were reporting to the king himself.
