Nicote and Cole are overused. And btw wha ti mena by torukture is sticking say, like Orkhannas "torture" is actually more like having to deal with Owen annoying her to death XD

It's more Nicote that got th eblintforxe but his main focus is horseback riding and stem so

Honestly, of the two characters of mine that have ever had mentions of flashbacks it's only been an event that's been brought up when they were pretty much already having a mental breakdown from something else. For example, had to write a scene last night involving my space captain who had a flashback involving her husband that was murdered in front of her by her son. It only came to mind to her because she was reminded of her husband thanks to the similar personality of one of the antags she was trying to chase down and running her ragged.

I definitely get a chuckle whenever PTSD gets involved in a character description or rp because it's pretty poorly written even a lot of professional published works. There's a lot of misinformation about a lot of mental health conditions. (Don't even get me started on multiple personality characters...)

But a lot of time I understand when it comes to rp, there's people much younger than myself with probably limited personal understanding of the conditions they are trying to write. Half the time I don't think it's intentional, it just registers as "cool" to people.
Mostly I just mentally file under it under poor researching and writing ability.

I could finish probably a full rant on this but I feel like we're already bogging the thread down talking about it and I want to avoid trash talking bad rps/writers here, lol.

I torture emy ocs by having them surrounded by generally annoying ocs

E.g. Orkha and cat have Owen. Luna has a live hate relationship with Mike. Poor Briyan somehow got dragge into a love triangle (~\~[ ctually.......) and I never finished sorting that out actually whih I should.

Nicote is mainly my torture oc but honostly hes got enough for a lifetime so I just let him dabble in animals and stem stuff like a good oc and my focus is now turning to Alex, Xander, and all my other Alex's except Alex Yan. I dont like Alex Yan, I've had him for about three years but I still dont like that I actually created him

Tbh that's what X was built to do. If I can't drive everyone else in the rp up the wall by annoying their characters into the ground, I'm not trying hard enough with him.

I have a lot of interactions going on between mine and my other characters but when I move them between groups, a lot about them gets revised or edited as I go. I don't have fully fleshed out backstories for most of them for this reason but I have stacks of notes on their characters and bits and pieces of their lives.
