*Its nice to meet you, Clementine* Sig gave a friendly smile. *Yeah, Frosty is my first Pokmon, My friend Lance caught her for me when he moved away to a different town* Sig remarked somewhat sadly.

*Oh yeah, Lance texted me the other day that hes going to be participating in the gym challenge* Ali piped up.

*Mom! Come on! We gotta get to the train station so we can meet the champion!* a little kid yelled as he dragged his mother with him.

*Well, I guess I gotta go meet Zander at Wedgehurst station* Alicia sighed. *Lets go Toxel, its not every day he decides to make time for his oh-so important little sister* Alicia said sarcastically as she lifted up the purple Pokmon.

*We dont have to go with her, she can get a bit moody when her brother is involved... she has some vendetta or something against him ever since he became champion because he hardly ever comes home or talks to her anymore* Sig explained the sensitive situation awkwardly

"I would too if he we're my brother,it's bad enough that my dad want's me to become a gym leader or a champion" he sighed."But then again I don't have siblings,so I don't really understand". he added trying not to sound all knowing or anything.


Cayden's noivern made another sad sound,"Fine we'll go see him when he get's back." she remarked."but we're getting tips,not fangirling" she told Kaori who gave a quick nod.

*Yeah... my family has high expectations of me too, but I dont really know what I wanna do, I mean, I definitely love Snom and I wanna do good for Pokmon, but... I dont know I guess for now I wanna do the gym challenge right now* Sig sighed

Alicia decided to take a picture while she waited behind the crowd for her brothers arrival. She made sure to get the composition perfect before taking it and then uploading it, some like were already coming in. She smiled, satisfied with her increasing popularity.

She swiftly weaves her way to the front of the small crowd as the train stopped at the station and the cheers began.

Zander stepped out of the train, giving the crowd his standard charizard pose *Hello everybody! Its good to see you all* he greeted the crowd loudly and enthusiastically

Cayden had been at the crowd and her noivern was excited,"Calm down,we're here to get tips remember?" she told Kaori as she took out a pokeball.She wasn't going to pokeball Kaori yet,but it was a good thing to hold onto.Kaori was peering over the crowd tho

Clementine nodded,"Yeah.I hope i'm not taking up your time or anything" he quickly added the last part feeling bad about continuing to talk.His dad said he talked too much

A bunch of younger kids and some teens and adults ran up to Zander to get pictures with him.

*So, who here is looking to take on the gym challenge? Even if you dont want to, you should still consider getting your Pokmon stronger, theres nothing wrong with having Pokmon that can protect you and your family* He tells the group, the lesson mostly aimed towards children.

*Unfortunately, I cant wait around here long, Im here on family business... but Im sure I can stick around for a few more minutes here* Zander tells everyone



*Oh, dont worry! I dont really have any plans for today... usually I hang out with Alicia, but since shes going to be spending time with her brother, I dont really have anything to do* he said awkwardly, shrugging his shoulders *And I dont think you talk too much at all!* he tries to reassure Clementine.

*So... a clefairy and a Grookey... how did you get them?* Sig tried to make conversation

Cayden pushed up to the front ,her noivern close behind her.Maybe she could at least get the "permission" they were required to have to start the gyms.She pushed some of the clearly fangirls out of the way,she had her notebook in one hand."hey do you have any tips for trainer's wanting to do the gym trials?" she asked him


"The clerfairy's my moms...and the grookey my dad gave to me...I don't really know what to do with him cause he's just so full of energy" he replied with a sigh of relief.thank the heavens he doesn't think I talk too much

*Hmm, tips for the gyms... Id say its important that you learn about your opponents, prepare and train as much as you can, and no matter what, dont give up! That probably sounds cheesy, but your Pokmon can pick up on how youre feeling. If you feel hopeless, theyll believe they have no chance, and then you really wont win* Zander said.

*Zander, Im here* Alicia made her presence known.

*Alicia!* the champion said happily, picking up his sister and hugging her. She hugged him back despite her initial struggle to get away from the smothering.

*Im happy to see you too, Zan, but theres something important I wanna say. I want to do the gym challenges and beat you, and I need a letter of endorsement.* she tells her brother flat out.

*Straight to the point as ever...* he sighed. *I just dont think youre ready, little sis, youre gonna have to prove that youre ready* he crossed his arms *We can finish this talk at home* he said sternly to Alicias dismay



*Well, maybe Grookeys energy isnt a problem, hes probably just enthusiastic and feels bored in a small town like this* Sig smiled at the energetic Pokmon. *And your clefairy definitely seems very motherly* he commented.

I knew he had family here,but a sibling?My age?Geeze he's younger than I thought Cayden told herself,she pokeballed her Noivern who'd gotten a little too excited for her liking,and he told me what every other trainer probably says,i know my mother does she sighed a little and began to walk away.She was sure she could get the letter from her aunt,or someone she knew.Cause the scientist who were researching gigmaxing were kinda invoved with the battles and stuff.



"Yeah,as far as I know she helped raise me so,she's pretty much my babysitter" he chuckled as she chimed happily as he remarked that.

Alicia began walking with her brother back home before he hesitated, suddenly pointing at Cayden.

*You! Youre a Larcen, arent you! Sorry about that mate, Im not the best with faces. Ive met your parents before, they mentioned you and that you might be interested in the gym challenge* Zander said as he approached Cayden, Alicia sticking close behind him.

*Ill tell ya what, Ill have you battle my lil sister here back at Potswick, and if Im impressed, Ill endorse whoever seems ready to participate in the challenge* Zander promised the two girls.

*Must be nice having a Pokmon to take care of you, Snom is pretty helpless, and Alicias Toxel aint much better, the thing throws a fit every time it doesnt get its way* Sig chuckled. *Of course its better than Frosty, my little snom loves crawling into every place she can and getting stuck* he sighed, patting the little ice bug pokemon

Honi stares at the pokeball in his hands containing a newly caught male Galarian Ponyta. The train announcing a 5 min arrival time to Wedgehurst station. Feeling movement by his legs, he looks down to see Kiki nudging his leg with an worried look. Smiling, the trainer places the pokeball in his backpack and picks up the Alolan Vulpix so she won't be lost in the exiting crowd when the train stopped. There seemed to be a lot of people heading to his new home town today.

"Don't worry, Kiki. We're making it home with plenty of time to eat the meal mom prepared. I think she messaged me she was fixing your favorite Malasada from the ingredients Lanei sent by mail yesterday." Kiki gave a happy response and signature cute face causing Honi to scratch behind her ears.

The Vulpix excitedly keeps repeating it's name in a sing song voice under her breath. Which to the Alolan sounded similar to the food song his dad liked to sing before a meal was ready. As soon as the pair exited into the train station, Honi found the source of the crowd. Standing on the other side of the station is the Galar League's champion, Zander and he is surrounded by adoring fans asking questions.

"That's right we missed the latest battle Zander fought before the opening festival. Hopefully mom or dad remembered to record it. We can watch it while we eat." He tells his pokemon. She nods in agreement. After maneuvering through the excited crowd, he sets Kiki down. They walk a few steps before both look at each other with a gleam in their eyes.

"First one to make it home gets the first piece of Malasada." He announces. His Vulpix is a white blur as soon as he finishes his statement. Honi runs after with an excited grin on his face. Somethings will always stay the same even in a different home. Including Kiki not watching where she is going in her excitement for her favorite food. He thinks as he watches his friend run into the legs of a walking stranger toward the path home. The Alolan blinks in momentary shock as he realizes it is Zander, who is talking with two girls, that his pokemon barreled into.
