It's a common question, the color indic the rarity and thus the amount of trait points a pet have, in the lost grove it also impact on the pet stat. The better the rarity is the rarer the pet is as well, it's a bit obvious tho. ^-^
white : 0 tp
green : 1 tp
blue : 2 tp
purple : 4 tp
yellow : 6 tp
red : 8 tp
it take 2 tp to make a gene into a visible and rescessive traits are not comptabilised in those.
