Wraith was back on the rooftops, barely visible in the darkness and indistinguishable against the sky. His red eyes peered through the crowds, scanning the streets for his new target. So far, nothing. However, as he waited further, he caught a glimpse of red. Probably the person who he was looking for, but he had to watch further to make sure.

She made her way to a busy street, walking towards the night-market with gold coins jingling in her pockets. She walked to the booths and scanned the food, seeing apples, oranges, bread. The food vendor stared at her. " You going to buy something or just kill them with your eyes? " he said. She didn't look up at him, then grabbed 3 pieces of bread and gave him 15 coins. She put 2 in her bag then started eating one, making her way back home.

Wraith continued to watch, confirming his suspicions before deciding to act. He frowned slightly, watching as she headed back the way she'd come. No wonder he thought he recognized her. This was the woman who had seen him doing his work. Well, business was business. He needed to t rid of witnesses anyways. He waited until she was back on an empty street before taking two steps and leaping off the building. He drew his dagger as he descended, ready to kill.

She jumped back, seeing him out the corner of her eye. She took another bite of her bread. Well, this night just became longer than I intended it too. she sighs, and puts her bread in her bag.

Wraith didn't miss a beat. Knowing she'd moved was enough for him. He was going to use the darkness as his advantage, landing almost silently in front of his target with both daggers drawn now. He took a quick step back and to the side, eyes narrowed and body ready to leap into action. Not yet. He wouldn't use his abilities unless it became absolutely necessary.

Ciki pulled out her dagger, and pushed her bandanna up. Can't I just go for one day without having someone after me? she thought, seriously annoyed. She thought about using her magic and ending it quickly, but people would notice and swarm the place.

Wraith watched as the girl drew her own dagger. So she knew the drill well enough. The fact she didn't seem surprised role him he probably wasn't the first to try to kill her. Carefully, he began to pace one way, watching his target's moves and alert for any subtle gestures. His face was covered mostly by the mask he wore, and the only skin showing was around his eyes. His grab, mostly black with a touch of red, was rather hard to see in the dark alley, but one could see basic movements if they looked hard enough.

She ran towards him, faster than he was probably expecting, and sliced his neck, but not enough to kill him. She jumped up, but used his chest as a propeller. I don't usually run but I'm not in the mood for a fight...she thought as she landed on a nearby roof. She turned then started running and jumping from roof to roof.

Wraith let out a pained shout, his hand flying up to his neck. He hadn't been expecting her to move so quickly, but he couldn't let himself be slowed by that. He stumbled backward as she used him as a way to get up to the roof. He growled, following quickly. His injury don't bother him much at all- he'd been through worse. Soon, he, too, was on the rooves, following in hot pursuit.

She continued to run, she knew he was following her. She jumped up, on to a taller building and continued running.
