...There are 72 hours in 3 days....so if you did it at 5pm exactly on sunday you gotta wait 72 hours not 3 days for it to evolve.

Keep in mind, that whenever the site goes into maintenance mode the timers are paused. Every monday morning there is a weekly server maintenance downtime, so that could explain the cause of the eggs missing a few hours. If they were created ebfore Krin tookt he site down the other day as well, that time would not have counted towards their progress.

As for OPs comments, as Scath said: they only age up on the hour tick if there werent nurtures that progressed it faster. So the tick happens at every _:00 on the clock.

The nurture would've helped boost it to that last hour tick early, hence why Orca's nurture caused it to hatch.

I'm super sorry if I'll sound harsh, but there was no maintenance yesterday, and I wouldn't post my stuff if I wasn't sure that something weird happened. not speaking that no maintenance can make 9 hours delay by itself, only if something went wrong. at least I think so. anyway, that's not like things are usually going.

Yep, that I do know. I'm just wondering why my egg said it was 3 days in the "Age" near the top, but in the hours bar at the bottom, it said 65 hours? When according to its birth date/time, it was actually 73 hours. I think the "Age" only updates to 3 days once the egg hits 72 hours, so why does that show right, but not the hours bar?

It was born yesterday around 5am, so that makes it around 32 hours right now? But the hours bar near the bottom is only showing its 26 hours old. So Its missing 8 hours somehow, that seems like a lot for a maintenance window. It only has 4 nurtures, so that hasn't affected the time yet.

Yep. During maintenance, the site freezes to make sure data doesn't get messed up. Pets only age via server hourly ticks. So if the server hourly ticks aren't happening, pets won't grow up.
