I would but I always fail the hard missions, even if my Pets are at the required level. That's why I can never get enough gold to buy stable tabs, feed my pets, traps, etc. The hard missions are too difficult for me.

I would suggest getting/using dedicated mission pets; high level pets that you set their proficiency points all in one category.

For example, I bought Sweetberry here when I was new on the site to do missions; all her points are in dexterity.

Also I can't use lvl 60 pets yet since I'm only level 27. Anything higher than that I can't use them.

I think that just applies for battling, but I'm not sure exactly. Missions may let you use higher level pets for them? c:

I'll try. I do have a Lunemara that's level 55 so I'll test it to see if it will let me use it for missions.

I tried to put a level 60 Ryori on a mission but it said, "You lack the sufficient reputation for this Mission"

(I just have an urge to point out that Seagold when said "Offsprings from themed parents will now have a blue star on their lineage page that indicates it is a purebred.", that is something that is true as of literally yesterday. Them blue stars are brand-spanking shiny new,)

As for you needing higher reputation, you can boost reputation by doing quests and, I think, missions? So you just build up your faction reputation by doing the lower level missions.

You mentioned that themed pets can be pretty expensive, which is true, though some species or themes tend to be cheaper than others. But there are also a lot of themed pets /up for public breeding/. You can find them on advanced search. That way you could still breed purebreds, even if you only own one pet of that theme.
