(Oh? Did you copy from Word? Because quotation marks and apostrophes don't copy from Word.)

Everything hurt, Camilla noticed as she slowly became conscious again. Her feet definitely hurt, the shoes she was wearing had started to come apart a day or so ago. Her legs hurt, her back hurt, somehow even her hair hurt, though she was aware she still had the remnants of a veil attached to her filthy, ragged locks. It helped somewhat with the bugs. The big surprise was her head hurting, for she did not remember falling.

As she gazed around the room, her first terrified thought was that he had found her, beaten her over the head and dragged her home. But no, Camillla thought with relief, this was just a room in an inn in another human village. She stared up into the face of a young man, listening to his explanation of her fall. Well, that certainly explained the pain in her head. She had only brought the bare essentials with her when she'd ran, and there had been no time to change.

"I thank you," she told Eprin, standing up slowly. She looked down at her dress, which had been torn to shreds during her journey, and she flushed slightly. This was not the proper way one was supposed to be dressed in public. She glanced up at Eprin and chose to...

a.) Speak with Eprin more

"I would hate to trouble you further, but do you perhaps know a place I might be able to obtain some clothes?" As she finished her inquiry, she only hoped that he was not the overly curious sort.

Eprin examined your regalia modestly, careful not to look to closely as to avoid offending. Then he looked away, his face somewhat ruddy. "Well, I'm sure my sister probably has some spares. She's a few sizes bigger than you, I think, but she might have old clothes from when she was younger," he shrugged, his voice slightly higher-pitched than before.

Oh dear, Camilla turned her face away, her face flaming hot as she realized the poor boy was having trouble keeping his composure. He was polite about it at least, and given what she'd been through in the last week she was willing to give him due credit.

"Yes," she said, clearing her throat slightly, "That sounds acceptable, though I'd have to insist on paying you. Perhaps a cobbler in town for some shoes?"

Eprin shook his head. "No, she has no use for those old clothes anyway. Here, I shall go fetch her..." And with that, he left the room and returned five minutes later with, well, an orc. She looked absolutely nothing like her supposed brother, and was indeed a few sizes bigger than you.

She surveyed you suspiciously and crossed her arms over her chest. "Aye, you want me to find better clothes for this thing?" she scoffed. She raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Clearly, something ain't right with it. It's got some dull ears, but it looks like an elf no-how. But elves ain't got red hair." She turned and smacked Eprin upside the head, her large dark green hand nearly knocking him over.

This was quickly turning into a disaster, Camilla was realizing with each passing second. First, the boy's sister, the one that was "a few sizes bigger" than she was, turned out to be an orc, which would have been bad enough. However, things became downright terrible when the orc began to critically observe Camilla's appearance. She became very consciously aware of her slightly pointed ears and she instinctively shook her long hair to try and cover them.

"If you please," she said, trying to control the emotions in her voice, "I don't wish for any trouble. Perhaps you could simply direct me to a merchant in town..." Anything to get away from this brutish thing.
