In the actual comics, it's kinda hard to explain the powers, but she can use telepathy, create nightmares, dreams, and mindscapes basically, however she loses all of her emotions. She can also alter memories (at least memories of herself)

(Just note in the comics the eye monsters powers consist of the user being able to see through the eye of the monster, and the monster could fly/shoot a beam of light from it's eye)
(Also, the monster using its power wouldn't affect the other eye, and she wouldn't be able to see the future)
