(I'd like to point out that many people, myself included, click through and ToT every available user. I often don't pay much attention to user names, just clicking. So it's likely that the user in question isn't intentionally singling you out when ToTing.)

Just to add my opinion on this subject as variations of it have been brought up before to me.
Trick or Treating really only "works" if everyone is semi "forced" to answer their door in a predetermined order. If you could skip players or ignore players or block them, it would just turn into a feature where a lot of players just simply Trick or Treat with and only with their friends. It could also go even further where groups of players band together to grief specific players they may not like and have all of their friends intentionally skip or block said player. I definitely do not want Trick or Treating condoning this in anyway.
It most definitely is not a perfect a feature - but I think it works very well for what it is. And as always, I will keep trying to make it better and better as time goes on.
Now, onto the specific issue at hand here. First off, I will say that it is very rude and disrespectful what the other player supposedly did. That is not at all a nice thing to do and not anything they should be proud of.
In regards to future interactions with that player, I would say to just shrug it off and be the better person - so to speak. What they did was wrong and rude and you did nothing wrong at all. I am the one who sets the criteria for personal gifts so if anyone has a right to gripe about a gift they received, it should be directed at me - not the gifter. It fortunately is very easy to just hand out a piece of candy and move on to the next ToT'er and if you are going quick enough, you may not even realize you went through that player until you've already clicked past them.
I would advise against doing something to intentionally grief them, as that just makes matters worse and won't help anything at all. Negative attitudes will just feed further negative attitudes.
So, long message short - the other player was wrong with what they did and you did nothing wrong. Try not to let it ruin the feature for you and just try and pay no attention to the other player in question. There isn't much I can do to the feature as I don't want it to turn into a complicated feature of exorbitant blocking/skipping/etc, as I think it would really ruin the feature as a whole for the majority of players.
I am always looking to improve features and will try to keep such circumstances in mind going forward to see if I can find a good way to address them.

Thank you for your response. I can see how skipping may cause issues, I'm not sure of another way that would not have the same problems, either.
Hopefully, a solution can be found for future variants.
