I am constantly losing stuff. I suggest looking for it, and if you can't find it, ask one of your parents (preferrebly the slightly nicer one) to help you look for it. Hopefully you find it.

Ask them to help you look? "Mom, have you seen my retainers anywhere?" That way they know you're not just being lazy and not looking for them, and who knows, maybe they HAVE seen them.

It's a good idea, but if I say that, they'll immediately know that I lost them, and although I should tell them, I really don't want to. Thank you, though!
