Will it have some sort of animation or will it just be another click-based game?

I dint know if its to late to answer your survey but i did ^-^, It would be really exciting to have two pet games to play XD

There will not be animations in the site for a few reasons.
Animating pets leaves us with pretty much 2 options:Either they cant be customized or they are built in a Flash like structure within java and html.
Both have major problems.
the first requires i premake pets and use Gif files with means no "Good" transpearencys and low qualty art that cant resize without becoming a blurry mess. Large numbers of gifs on a site also would cause massive lag at the scale we are planning for.
Te second methode to say the least"Is Ugly". There have been a handful of site that attempted it in the past and most if not all are dead or deleted by now. it is extremely time consuming to create even 1 lineart and to aimate even say(for example) a Qitari stamping its hoof would take a minimum of 15 frames(individual linearts) to animate it and event then it would not be very smooth. Then times that buy ever marking,and mutation they have available to them.

So no animation will not be on the site. and buy click based i assume you mean the minimap fast travel? In wich case no that will not be available either. the game will play out more like an advanced text based rp then most petsites.


@Katelynn4545 nope your not to late. I wont be closing the Survey down till The official email is set up and i can respond to everyonwe using it.
