Awesome ideas! Thank you so much.
The Sylvorpa idea is excellent, I'll implement it now.
Lunemara would communicate on a hive-level with emotions...that works, thanks
For the Nephini, time-lost generally indicates to me that they can't really control when and where they are. However, they can control to whom they appear. Maybe they have control when triggered by anger (over some one attacking the forest)?

Bulboris I think would have control of rocks/earth since it has those gems on their head
Nephinis
would probably have control over sunlight or just light
Nytekries would have control over the night or darkness Puffadore would have the power to turn metal/ore or coal to gold or coins Lunemara vibrations and sound or plants/pollination

Bulbori(e?)s: It says on the species profile in the generator that a Bulbori's gem "...is used to harness and project their psychic abilities." Wouldn't that be a greater indicator of psychic abilities?
Nephinis: Control over light is something I've already designated for Lighiras. Any other ideas?
Nytekries: Control over night sounds all well and good under you consider what abilities that would grant. Shadow manipulation is literally light manipulation, and that would fall to the Lighiras.
Puffadore: It's as good an ability as any, but why would Puffadores specifically have that ability?
Lunemara: Vines and underbrush maybe? Oh! That could be how they build their nests!

Seems a lot of sylesties if we go with Sylestia lore just can use various sources of power. And, aside from the elemental powers that can be assigned from the Sylestian gods, some just seem to act a lot like regular animals such as the lunemaras.
However, this would be my take looking through the descriptions we already have on the species.
Aeridini - Life. They're pollinators and nurturing.
"Aeridinies spend much of their observed time pollinating Sylestia's many different types of flowers. Their diet consists almost exclusively of nectar, making them excellent candidates for pollinating."
"Aeridinies are also very nurturing and have even been observed helping both other species of Sylesties and even Sylestians themselves."
Aurleon - not sure but probably not wind due to the first quote below despite that they can fly very long times. They're super smart though. They're also diurnal.
"During any type of inclement weather, Aurleons will seek shelter in the trees until the weather clears up."
"Their long feathers and long wings allow them to be the only known Sylesti capable of sustained flight."
"Aurleons are often regarded as the most intelligent Sylesti. They enjoy the company of others, especially other Aurleons, and are often seen living in large communities. Aurleons are typically very peaceful creatures that avoid confrontations."
Bulbori - Psychic
"These gems are thought to greatly enhance a Bulbori's magical abilities. All Bulbories also have a gem that they telepathically hold above their heads. This gem is used to harness and project their psychic abilities."
Draeyl - not sure. They do like dark places and more extreme weather though.
"Preferring harsher climates, they are rarely seen in temperate regions. Draeyls are nocturnal creatures, therefore they only appear in the wild during nighttime. In an attempt to stay out of sight, Draeyls typically only come out during inclement weather."
Faelora - plants (life)
"Through their special bond with the forest's plant life, they have an innate ability to grow beautiful plants and flowers from their bodies."
"Lastly, some Faeloras have been seen covered in Fae Dust. This magical dust attracts Fae life and is thought to enhance a Faelora's magical abilities."
Griffi - ice
"Lastly, some Griffies have been seen to carry the very essence of winter with them. Be very cautious of these Griffies, as rumor has it that those who wander too close to these Griffies can become frozen solid in a matter of seconds."
Kelpari - water (particularly fresh water), purification?
"However, the most striking physical difference is that instead of a mane full of hair, the Kelpari has a flowing mane of pure water."
"Due to their unique anatomy, the Kelpari live almost exclusively in areas with shallow, fresh water, such as lakes, rivers, and ponds. However, they can rarely be found far inland or out on the open ocean."
Lighira - heat
"It's thought that they retreat to the deepest, hottest caves of Sylestia during the remainder of the year."
"During this time period, they can be found all over the kingdom in warm climates. During the remainder of the year, it is not known where they go. Some believe that they hide in deep underground caves while others think they magically teleport to some alternate plane. What is known is that when they do disappear each year, they will not reappear for approximately 50 weeks."
Luffox - empath
"They love to play, cuddle, climb, and spend every minute of every day attached to those who they care about. Because of this close bond that they create, Luffoxes are extremely affected by the loss of a loved one or by abandonment. Fortunately, due to that same nature, they can quickly recover if another is there to comfort them."
"They have a tremendous sense of danger and use their strong emotions to fuel their tenacity in battle. The more a Luffox feels cared for, the stronger it will act in battle. As a trainer, it is very important to love and care for your Luffox; especially if you wish to battle with it."
Lunemara - hivemind, pheromones? Moths are often associated with night and possibly sleep/dreams though this doesn't seem to be used in Sylestia's lore. They seem to act a lot more like bees or ants.
"In these climates, Lunemaras construct massive colonies along the tree tops. These colonies have been known to be as large as a mile in diameter and contain thousands of Lunemaras all living in harmony."
"Lunemaras are often considered the Sylesti most dependent on others. Lunemaras that get separated from their colony usually cannot survive on their own. Regarding their personalities, Lunemaras are typically indifferent to outsiders. However, as soon as a Lunemara feels threatened, an entire swarm will gather to protect the colony and its workers. It is thought that Lunemaras release various pheromones to communicate with others of its colony."
Lupora - light or more specifically moonlight since they're nocturnal. Vaeluna is the goddess of light. Which makes me think that they must hate new moons.
"Luporas, often referred to as predators of the night, are thought to be blessed by Vaeluna herself; granting them enhanced powers from moonlight."
Morkko - nature, protection magic. Faerina is the earth goddess who is heavily connected to nature and from looking at proficiencies also protection.
"Morkkos, nature's personal guardians, are native to Umbra Forest. Often adorned with thick armor, these Sylesties are both ferocious and noble. It is believed that they were blessed by Faerina and in return are now sworn protectors of her domain."
"The Morkko is a very majestic creature that is native to Umbra Forest. It is said that many years ago they were blessed by Faerina and in return are sworn protectors of Umbra Forest."
"If you wish to befriend a Morkko, you should demonstrate your love of nature to earn its trust. Bestowed with Faerina's blessing, they are bound to protect the natural world of Sylestia."
"The most notable feature of a Morkko is its magically enhanced eyes, which provide them with incredible night vision."
"Morkkos are also seen with various beads and feathers around their bodies, which is said to be a gift from Faerina herself. Other Morkkos can be seen with antlers that protect them from incoming blows."
Nephini - nature (specifically forests and being plant doctors/protectors). They seem to resemble in function morkkos, but their description makes me think more of the nature magic of some fairies.
"Nephinies are often called the guardians of the forest. They use their innate magical powers to aid the forest and to keep it healthy. To mess with the forest is to mess with the Nephini. Despite their duty to protect the forest, Nephinies still find plenty of time to play and have fun, especially at an adventurer's expense."
"However, disrespect the Nephini or harm the forest and you will surely have something to be worried about. The only reported cases of aggressive Nephinies involved harm to the forest or to its denizens."
"They also have sticky residue on the tips of their fingers and toes which help them climb through the trees with ease. Lastly, they have glowing antennas which are thought to magically attune themselves to the surrounding forest."
"Nephinies have been seen with various types of wings. It is not entirely known what the purpose of the different types of wings are, but one theory is that each type of wing denotes a specific classification of a guardian."
Ny'vene - elemental
"They are a terrifying, powerful creatures with strong bonds to the elements."
"Because of their ancient lineage, Ny'venes have a very powerful bond with the elements."
"Since Ny'venes have a very strong bond with the elements, they often channel these bonds in material ways. For example, some Ny'venes surround themselves with lightning, while others are engulfed in flames."
Nytekrie - night, shadows, moonlight, starlight?
"Nytekries, haunting predators of the night, are terrifying creatures that are always lurking in the shadows of the treetops. In one fell swoop, they can snatch their prey and carry them high up into the trees where they are never seen or heard of again."
"The Nytekrie are a fearsome species that are often seen lurking in the shadows. Prefering the cover of night to hunt, Nytekries are rarely seen during the day. As with most predators of Sylestia, they care little about the current weather. With their combination of strength, speed, intelligence, and flight, one should always be cautious of what's lurking in the shadows."
"Some Nytekries have been spotted with unique armor designed with lunar symbols. This armor is thought to enhance their power when under moonlight. Other Nytekries, often nicknamed Plaguebringers, have been seen outfitted in terrifying bone armor and are usually considered signs of ominous things to come. Lastly, other Nytekries have been seen with magnificient celestial designs, often called Stardust. It is not known what causes this phenomenon."
Puffadore - not sure
"Puffadores have tendrils attached to their ears that they use to enhance their senses. With these, they can detect even the faintest of vibrations from miles away."
Qitari - not sure
"Qitaries are also very protective of their young and only demonstrate their full power when they sense that their loved ones are threatened."
"The most notable feature of a Qitari is its scales that cover most of its body. Some believe the Qitari and Draeyl have a common ancient ancestor. These scales are very thick and provide the Qitari with significant protection. They also have a beautiful well-groomed mane that is the envy of many people!
Some Qitaries are also bestowed with the ability to grow wings enabling them to fly or glide small distances. Other Qitaries have horns that enhance their combat prowess."
Ryori - phasing, density manipulation
"Considered to be phantasms, they can float through the air as if they were the wind. They often use this ability to haunt their unsuspecting prey."
"Ryories are mostly incorporeal creatures that only appear during a brief period of time in the fall season. Due to their ghostly manner, it is impossible to determine their actual weight. This feature also allows them to float through the air nearly effortlessly, which can be quite a sight when seen for the first time. It is assumed that the Ryori reside in the Plane of Shadows, but that is just a theory."
"The most obvious feature of the Ryori is its ghostly body, which is partially corporeal and partially incorporeal. This feature grants them a great deal of agility, making them difficult challengers in battle. Another unique feature that Ryories have is a cluster of magical spheres that orbit around their necks. It is thought that these orbs supply the Ryories with energy and that if they are destroyed, so is the Ryori."
Sylvorpa - water with maybe more emphasis on seawater than kelps
"Sylvorpas, whose ancient ancestors hailed from the sea, have only been seen living on land for the past few centuries. Due to their aquatic nature, they are only seen in regions with plenty of water. Sylvorpas are nocturnal creatures, therefore they only appear in the wild during nighttime. Additionally, they only appear if it is raining, snowing, or storming."
Vulnyx - not sure. There's just not much on them except like qitaries they're everywhere.
"They adapt well to all environments and are found anywhere in Sylestia. Vulnyxes are nocturnal creatures; therefore they only appear in the wild during nighttime. Due to their adaptive nature, they can easily hunt under any condition."
Zolnixi - spirit magic, luck
"They are also well known for their strong bonds with the spirits."
"Bestowed with an ancient blessing of luck, all Zolnixies carry various runes on their fur."
"Rarely, Zolnixies are seen wearing jeweled talismans around their neck and tails. Although it has never been determined what their purpose is, many suspect these talismans act as a protective aura to the Zolnixi and those around it."

I feel like the Vulnyx would be something that deals with camouflage, possibly. Or, maybe something a little deeper. Such as, manipulation of appearance.

Savynn:
Aeridini: Life is all well and good, but what kind of abilities would they derive off of that?
Aurleon: I know, I know...but what you assign to Aurleons? I mostly gave them that off of their bird-like appearance.
Bulbori: Already have that, thanks!
Faelora: I'll have to arrange a few things for that...hmmm
Griffi: Already have that, thanks!
Kelpari: Fresh water manipulation? That works! I'll add it now :) Just need to rearrange several other abilities too...
Luffox: That overlaps with Bulbori...any other ideas?
Lunemara: I've already got a solid ability for them, but thanks :)
Lupora: Your suggestion for Lighiras totally clears things up! I'll use this.
Morkko: They protect nature, so honestly their ability can go both ways. I already have a plot point written in on this, so I can't change it now. Sorry!
Nephini: Not too sure what you mean by this. Could you please clarify?
Ny'vene: Added!
Nytekrie: Unfortunately, shadows are comprised of light being redirected from a certain area. Light redirection falls under Lupora abilities. Not gonna work, sorry.
What element or specific domain of power would each Sylesti have control over, if it was possible? I thought of a few, but I'm not to sure about most of them.
Aeridini: Flowers; blooming flowers, ripening fruit, etc.
Aurleon: Wind
Bulbori: Mind; telepathy, mind influence (not quite control), memory manipulation?
Draeyl: Mineral Purification/Manipulation
Faelora: Healing
Griffi: Winter/Ice
Kelpari: Fresh water manipulation
Lighira: Tempurature manipulation
Luffox: Earth sense (like being able to track another being, or attuning to the earth)
Lunemara: Vines and underbrush
manipulation
Lupora: Moonlight redirection (Can't generate light)
Morkko: Control over trees
Nephini: Time-lost (but little control, triggered by anger)
Ny'vene: Elemental Control, emphasis on lightening, fire, storm, spirits, water, crystal
Nytekrie: Clouds (including mist)
Puffadore: Sound manipulation; imitation, muffling, etc.
Quitari: Earth manipulation?
Ryori: Density manipulation
Sylvorpa: salt water manipulation
Vulnyx: ?
Zolnixi: Dreams/prophecy, communing with spirits through dreams.
Abilities with question marks are tentative guesses.
What do you think, yae or nae? Any ideas/suggestions?
*I'm using this chart for a story, so I'm not listing all options in order to avoid confusion when typing chapters up.
Nytekrie's are known for being fearsome night-birds, so maybe they could have something to do with shadow and darkness?
