I remember setting my age to the oldest it could go for this site, I think. I did it because I didn't think I would be playing this game much.
So I suppose I would go into the 'uber old' forum.

Edit: then again I can't find the place that shows my birthday and where to edit it so maybe I did it for a different game...

I like the community on the site here as I feel we all get along regardless of our personal circumstances. I feel this would divide it and make people feel unable to talk to others in other age sections. It's already possible to make a forum thread for (for example) teenagers to chat, so I'd have to say no support. I also think that this would just create far more areas for Fai and Krin to handle themselves as they don't have mods.

For me this is a big NO NO! Quiet a lot of predators register as a younger age. And this would just make it that much easier for them. If there are other adults/older players around they can keep a eye open in chat and make sure nothing fishy is happening. If there is only young kids in a place there a predator have snucked in by registering as a younger player then the risk of getting caught is drasticly reducing. And HOW would this work? would there be a code regristing what age you have or would it just be like a second chatroom? either way I cant suport this, to many warningflags wawing for me.

All users could acess all areas, it would just be more of a "maturity" level type thing. Maybe have one place where everyone could discuss something, while the older ones have something else. I was just thinking about this because the older players might want to discuss this, even though everyone could still access it, it would let everyone know its more of a mature topic. For example, if anyone ever wanted to discuss politics, most 13 year olds might not want to look at that page.

so basicly what you are asking for is topic specific chatrooms?

There is nothing harmful allowed to be posted here - I believe people should take some responsibility for their own viewing, if they open a topic they have no interest in, politics for example, they can just close out of it and the people who are interested can discuss. Most topics are clear by the thread title - there's no need for segregation of boards.

I agree with Dial, although I do talk to people in my age group, I do not like to converse usually with people younger and/or more immature. So I would probably stick with the higher age groups. I do like the idea of being able to find people of certain ages though, it helps more when you want to have an actual conversation versus just a little conversation (: Although, I have to agree with Lavelle on this one, the community of this site is why I have stayed for so long and having different sections for different ages would just split us all up. I would rather not have the community crumble like that, it would likely mean a lot of the older users leaving. So, I think I'll go with a no for this, although it is a nice concept, it just doesn't make sense.
