Yeah, even with my tablet i used it for awhile before i got to the point where hand drawn lineart was more effective.
It's why i charge more for it, heh. Even though all that charging seems to mean no one wants anything T_T prices need lowering again...but shading's also kinda fun. It's relaxing, too, when it's going right!

Well i started with this, ended the year with this(pardon the profanity in the url, i should change that). So i think i did enough work that i clearly improved! Haven't done as much rapid improvement since though, but that's 'cause i went through a lot of personal stuff. But that was me drawing 2-3 things a week, all year, and while it was work it clearly paid off.

Late to the party, but I would def want a commish. *o* would pay something 50k+

It was worth it to me. I just wish they had the wireless options they have now back then, i have crappy wireless internet so i usually use a cable to connect, then there's the charger cord, then my headphones, then my tablet.......soooo many wires! But alas, i'll have to wait till this tablet dies. Which hopefully is never since i can't afford to replace it right now.

Yeah, as long as you have a light source and you're familiar with what you're shading, it's a routine. Can't always win with people, sometimes sacrifices are made on both ends. It's usually worth it though!

Feathers are so weird. Yet somehow, some people sit and draw birds all the time. Utterly lost there, i can't even figure out how to draw them in the first place! Ugh, speedpaints are so fun. Makes you forget that they actually speed up the videos though, 'cause it takes hoooouuurs in real life...

Serious though! I've had my computer for 1 to 2 years, and it's fallen so much and it still works!

My brother got me a 50ft ethernet cord so it could reach the kitchen, where i usually set up. So from where the router is in one room, down the hall, into the kitchen...no one's been hurt yet, but that thing is DANGEROUS.

My last laptop was something my other brother put together, only he bought a used shell with funky wiring to the monitor, so after like 3 months the thing would go totally kaplunk and the screen was unviewable. My current one works fine, despite it falling off narrow surfaces onto tiled floor! Though i wish it had even decent gaming capabilities...the graphics card is crap and you can't change laptop ones without voiding the warranty...

Leaves are STARTING to make sense, probably to years of elementary school art class doing 'em every fall and spring...but feathers are alien, man.

It's sooo mesmerising. My painting attempts are more like BLEND EVERYTHING INTO A BROWN BLOB then erase and DO IT AGAIN!
