The Princess Bride by William Goldman, (also a movie, the first few chapters are a bit slow, but after that, it's very fast-paced, and really good)
The Sword in the Stone by T.H White
The Naming by Alison Croggon (first book in a trilogy)
The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau
A Question of Magic by E.D Baker
The Lost Years of Merlin series by T.A Barron
The Wind on Fire Series by William Nicholson (The First book is The Wind Singer)
The Pendragon series by D.J MacHale
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer (It's more sci-fi, but it has some fantasy elements in it)
Dragonfly by Julia Golding
Wildwood by Colin Meloy
Oh my gosh, this is much longer then I meant it to be. I kinda got carried away...

You should read the Spirit Animals series. Tui Sutherland (on the Erin Hunter team) wrote book 5, and the series is from Scholastic, same as Wings of Fire.

Eon by Alison Goodman
This book is not 'popular' or very well known, so it might be kind of hard to get you hands on it, but I enjoyed it. Eona is a girl disguised as Eon, a boy training to be a dragoneye. yeah, It's hard to give a one sentance summery on this book, but whatever. It's good. (By the way, don't look on Wikipedia for a summery, they will often spoil the ending.)
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
Werewolf girl, classic supposed to marry one guy, wants to marry another, but still enjoyable. This is number one of three, and the end of number three is weird -- brace yourself -- but, like I said, still enjoyable.
City of Bones by Casandra Clare
This was a pretty big book, almost Twilight big, but was okay. There are five of six books in the series, and only the first three are worth reading, but they are okay. Werewolves, Vampires and Shadowhumters.
The Selection by Kiera Cass
It is kind of like the Princess Academy by Shannon Hale (Read that one too) A group of girls is picked out and one will become the princess. I liked it, but I haven't read number three yet, so I don't no how it ends.
Hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
It's about a fallen angel. This series went on for a bit too long, as well, but it was still okay. I don't know if I ever read the last one.
Bloody Jack by L. A. Meyer
This is the story of a girl who pretends to be a boy so she can get a job on British warship. (that was a nice summery, unlike all the rest of my summaries) All the books in this series are entertaining, but there are a ton of them. (the last one just came out and it was number 12.) they are all entertaining, but it does get a little bit ridiculous.
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
It is about a Vampire Slayer... Sort of. They were okay. I don't have much to say about them.
Anything by Robin McKinley
At least, I would assume that to be true, although I have not read all her books. She has an interesting writing style, but it is still good. I have read The Hero and the Crown, The Blue Sword, Sunshine, and am currently reading Spindle's end. (My favorite was Sunshine), so not really that many, but I have heard nothing but good things about her.
Alanna the first Adventure By Tamora Pierce
Alanna disguises herself as a boy so she can go to the palace and become a knight. This has been my favorite book for a really long time. There are about sixteen books written in this universe, and they all are really good. they are about a variety of different characters. This is the first.
So, that is my list of books, I hope you take a look at a couple of them. If you want to know anything else, ping me. I was not really sure what age group I was aiming for, so there is a variety, but they are all books that would be good for most of them. They range on the older side than what you said you have read, but not by much.
