Hopefully by eliminating them it will free up some time for more nifty features to be added?

Well, you still have time to purchase the custom design. You also still have 2 months to submit if you have the design.
And as Fai said, you can always suggest it in the Suggestion Box thread. We literally look at every single post when we are looking for new ideas.

Are you still going to implement allowing people to submit their own artwork, or is that idea going bye-bye also? |

I can't buy diamonds...so I have no shot...
My designs aren't liked enough so it would be silly to submit them to the Suggestion Box...because they would be disliked if not hated... |
