in which i speedrun contributing negative braincells to the crew
Yuyu | ~ 19 | male
A young man with dark pink hair, light purple eyes, and a fair complexion. His hair is long but half pinned up (with what one should hope is merely a hairpin shaped like a knife), and his expression is permanently amused, even on the rare occasions he is not. Wears vaguely dressy, old-fashioned clothing that seems ever so slightly too big (and disheveled) and is almost entirely monochrome, save for a smattering of colorful rings and a sheaf of red feathers pinned to his lapel. Hoards all sorts of keys and other dangly things, and hangs them from his belt. His Express "ticket" shall be attached to the edge of his coat :D
The stars glimmer from a distance, peering silently down at you through a latticework of steel beams. Harsh edges, gentle light; solid ground, hazy vision. With the serenely swaying ribbons that hang above your head, the softness thankfully wins out. Perhaps it's not so bad to be here, wherever you are. (Whoever you are is surely an unrelated question.)
Further than the steel, closer than the stars, hover rows upon columns of buildings: at all angles, in all colors, water-stained and slightly-faded--as though a flood, or several, had tried and failed to wash them out.
Or, maybe, a storm. Your forehead is burning and your mouth is dry, but the air tastes like petrichor and, as you stretch a hand out to the sky, the first drops of rain begin to fall.
The rain is cold as the first drops fall on your face and outstretched hand. The world, which had previously been quiet and serene around you, began to come alive with distant voices and rising winds. The sky remains clear above you as the rain falls
The steel beams around you stand strong, ribbons swaying in the breeze, creating an odd whistling tune that echoes through the air as the wind blows through.
"Really? Another storm? I thought you said the stellaron had been sealed, shouldn't it be over then?" A loud, higher pitched voice asked from nearby.
"It was only recently sealed, but... the scanner is showing odd results. It's reading dormant energy signals, however, none of the others are here, and we didn't do anything to seal it..." a calmer voice responded.
Looking in the direction of the voices, you could see a hatch on the metal floor of the structure you were seated in, and in another direction, a flight of stairs that ascended further up
(Btw, you seem a bit familiar with hsr, do you play? Would you rather the astral express crew remain the same, or do you want to play with an original cast)
Approx age (appearance-wise) About 19 in Earth years. Or so.
Gender: Nonbinary
Appearance:
something like this but the ears are more pointed
What do you see when you look around?
How about an alleyway that could probably be an OSHA hazard?
Looking around at the alleyway surrounding you, broken glass from shattered windows and other amounts of rubble littered the narrow alley. Broken machinery that was somehow still attempting to move were scattered across the ground. In the distance, you could hear yelling as footsteps bypassed the alleyway you had awoken in.
One set of footsteps grew louder, and a figure dashed past you before stopping, backtracking to look at you, crouching down to your level. She was an older woman, and she looked relieved seeing you were alive.
"Hello there, are you injured? I'm here to help" She said softly, her eyes searching for any sign of injury on you

They blink as glance around at the rather...well, the alley was definitely not pleaant. They look down and flex their hands and toes experimentally.
"I'm...fine....what's going on?" they asked. It seems pretty chaotic. Actually where are they, even? All this broken glass cannot be safe. Their eyes drift towards the machinery, but then their gaze returns to the woman.

*Its a fragmentum monster outbreak* the woman frowned. She seemed to be under the impression you were among the victims of the attack, but your cluelessness was making her second guess that theory. *Can you walk? We need to get to safety*She says, offering you her hand. Long purple hair flowed from beneath a sun hat, her clean appearance looking incredible out of place in such a run down location.

Yuyu ignores the voices and the threat of the rapidly growing storm as he slowly rises to his feet, gaze still trained on the sky. He doesn't recognize this place, or know if he ought to, but no matter--the words he'd just seemed to have heard sounded promising enough. But where to start this supposed journey?
He finally looks down, and all around at the structure itself. It offers a lovely view, but a little too much plain metal for his taste--oh, and those voices are rather distracting. In search of a better vantage point, he wanders away from them and further out into the clear. The chill of the wind and rain is soothing; he still feels vaguely feverish, and he entertains the thought of catching the raindrops in his mouth.
(a bit :] I think an original cast would be fun if that works for you!)

(original cast it is then!)
you walk ahead a bit, looking for a better vantage point. As you walk up the stairs, you find the air much more open and clear. You can see the sprawling buildings of wherever you are on the horizon, and from here you can see how the bases of the buildings seem to be lifted higher off the ground, holding themselves above the flooded canals of the city. You could see small boats with people on board drifting through the water.
You were considerably far off the ground, the rain much more prominent now that you were completely exposed to the sky, the drops soaking into your clothes. The canals of the streets relected streetlights from about five stories down. On the floor of the structure, you could see an out of place marking on the floor, almost like two hands fused together with a four pointed star in the middle, a bright magenta and pink color in contrast to the cool neutral grays of the steel structure

(oop sorry don't think i got the ping :/)
"A...what now?" They ask, but take the hand anyways. They're not going to question it too much when someone's offering help. Not like they really know what to do anyways, considering they don't know where they are, where to go, or what's out there. Best to just follow whoever's in sight and see what happenes
