Appearance:
They're 5'11", heavy-set, with an angular face they provide an imposing figure. He's got purple hair with white-grey tips that falls to just past his shoulders, with the ends curling slightly. usually he likes to wear it up in a ponytail. Green eyed and bronze skinned, on their left arm is a half-finished tarot-set sleeve. He has the Hermit, The Wheel of Fortune and a partially finished Tower inked in, in black and white. They also have a Carolina wren tattoo on their right shoulder blade.
Usually he likes to wear a simple black tanktop paired with an ankle length pleated white skirt, and a studded leather belt. If it's cold though they'll bundle up with cozy sweaters (especially if it's a silly pattern), scarves, hats, and anything warm and fluffy he can get their hands on.
Personality:
Extremely loyal and distrusting of his own decision making Emhry is always looking for a cause or a person to follow. Once they latch onto one they'd follow it to the end. They don't like taking charge and prefer strict, rigid orders to be given to them so he knows what to do and doesn't have to overthink things too much.
He does like to read though, and finds a lot of comfort in fantasy stories where characters get whisked away to far-off lands.
He's a bit of a romantic at heart but isn't sure whether he quite deserves that. He is often very self-deprecating but likes to make people smile and laugh, so he tries his best to reign it in. Protective and unafraid to throw himself in harms way for those he cares about, he's been compared to a guard dog with a death wish before.
Background:
He grew up in a family that had little but made up for it with love and affection, he knew his family wasn't the richest by any means but he never felt anything lacking. He had an older sister and a younger brother who he was extremely close with. His younger brither and them would often get into various mishaps, tracking mud home well past sundown, and rising early in the day to go on another wild adventure, they desperately tried to recreate wild adventures they'd read about. When they were 15 years old and figuring themselves out their sister was a big help in deciding how they wanted to present their identity.
A year later at 16, Emhrys and their younger brother Wrenn had skipped school, Emhrys had urged them to go exploring in the backwoods on the outskirts of their home. They didn't tell anyone where they'd gone, and that year had brought with it a rainer season tha normal. the ground was unstable and changed, deep in the woods deeper than they'd gone before and past where Wrenn had been comfortable to go, his little brother fell into a ditch, badly goring himself on rocks and wayward branches and thorns.
Wrenn had begged Emhrys to stay and help him up, Emhrys seeing his younger brother bleeding and badly hurt panicked, unsure what to do, they made the decision to run back home and get help. They couldn't remember the way out of the woods, getting themselves lost. By the time they got home and remembered the way to where Wrenn had fallen the boy was gone. Vanishing as if he'd never been there. If it wasn't for the torn clothing and blood littering the clearing Emhrys might have thought it was the wrong place.
Since then they didn't really trust themselves to make big decisions. Although his family didn't blame him, they were certain that they were just ebing polite, they knew it was their fault their brother was gone. He still hopes to find him somewhere.

Well, well, well. Another roleplay to obsess over XD
Name: Melissa Thanes

Appearance:
She has black hair, blue eyes, and quite pale skin, as she doesn't go out much. Always has slight under eye-bags from too many late night reading sessions. Doesn't smile much, but when she does it's said to light up a room, though she's not sure about that. Around 5'8" in height, and likes to wear pastel colors and romantic style clothing, as well as being quite curvy.
Personality:
Melissa's quite cold to others, never truly sure if it would be alright to let them in. Quite smart and pessimistic, thinking that if anything bad happens she likely won't survive to see her 17th birthday. She buries herself in books and prefers to hide from the world in her room, having extreme social anxiety and being extremely blunt and honest. Helps out at animal shelters to save dogs.
Background:
Melissa was bullied quite a lot as a child, seeking most of her shelter from the dogs her family had, as her parents didn't help her much. She became very good at training dogs and would volunteer at her local mill dog rescue shelter, as it broke her heart how people could hurt dogs like that. If anyone pries for more than that, she'll just glare at them until they get the point and go away.
