oh yeah now i noticed the DECA games logo- i forgot completely about that, i remember it as Backflip and never played under DECA until now lmao. Can't believe I missed that-

After the transfer from Backflip to DECA the game has made it easier to get all dragons through breeding, even if you miss an event. Especially if you miss an event, actually - during events exclusive dragons need to be bought with event currency but on the next cycle you can breed those dragons.

The downside of this is that there are a whole lot more events which means new dragons are added every few months or so xD

The dragon track has been changed to be much, much harder. The dragon at the top will always have a faster base speed than you. Even if you use all the right elements, that dragon will have the right elements and be faster than you.

The trick is to use an epic dragon with the right element(s) (for example, use Wendigo [Apocalypse/Earth/Fire/Ice] for Rime or Reason [Ice/Air]). That will force the game to use epic dragons as well, and while the top dragon will still be faster, you'll get the speed boost from the areas with the correct element, and most of the time that's enough to beat everyone else. There are times where the game will also generate a dragon with the correct element(s) but that's pretty rare given all of the epic dragons in the game.

You don't have to worry about Chilling Chase because by default all your opponents are acid dragons. Just use an epic dragon with a water or dark (or both) element.

Honestly, I don't remember. Since I played less I wasn't paying that much attention. One day the logo at the beginning of the game changed and I didn't even notice it; I only found out after people were talking about the transfer on the dv subreddit.

One of the things that's nice about the game is that it's less energy/storage intensive than a lot of the ones out there. The only resource being tested is your patience lol. All those dragons but so little time!

The wiki's great. The people running it do a very good job keeping it up to date and maintaining it.

Was breeding with Gardenia's random dragon a thing before? I don't think it was but I got a nice scorn dragon from it-

There's a rotation of dragons from various wizards in the co-op breeding cave in case you don't have any friends who have dragons up for co-op. Usually it's a polarian dragon but it changes depending on the theme of whatever event is going on. Sometimes you'll have multiple dragons to breed with.
