After a while, Emalf's sniffles stopped. He looked Amber in the eyes and whispered "Thank you" before leaning in to kiss her.

Sagea had given birth to a young hyena who was energetic from the start. Scar lead his brother Jadis outside. He smiled and Jadis ran off while his brother wasn't looking. Jadis stopped at a pool of water and played in the water.

Jadis played happily unaware of a animal watching him closely. He then cried out in fear having a dagger to his throat. Jadis let out a call for help. The creature with the dagger dragged Jadis yet Jadis was smart enough to leave a scent trail of fear

Emalf hugged Amber, but his ears caught the cry. He ignored it, deciding the hyena from earlier went hunting.
