Tulip's sobs became quiet as she and Atur hugged the still born pup close. It was a female, with a slightly bluish coat.

Emalf lay Amber outside the cave and burst in. Tears blurred his eyes as he saw his dead sister in his parent's arms. He slowly walked towards her and looked at her. She looked almost peaceful, lying there. The tip of his nose touched hers and everyone was silent.

Damen poked his head inside but then ran in fear of being caught

Amber was laying outside, squirming in her dream.

A shadow surrounded her, and she saw the candle in the distance flicker and then go out. All was dark until a light illuminated everything. In front of her, she saw a small female wolf pup, smiling sadly. She was sitting down and her pelt had a bluish tinge in it. When she spoke, her voice was as soft as cotton. "So, you're the fox my brother heard?" She says as she looks at Amber. Amber nods, somehow understanding who she's talking about. The pup smiled again, but her eyes were still sad. "I never got to meet him. When you wake up, wait outside of the den. He will come out. Say these words to him. 'Fierda wishes she could talk to you'." With that, the pup dissolved and so did everything else.

Amber jolted upright against a hard rock wall. She saw that it was a cave, and thought of the pup's words. She sat down and waited.

Emalf went outside and saw the fox awake. He looked at her, smiling sadly.

Damen cried

"Fierda wishes she could talk to you" She said with a small smile and sad eyes.

Emalf's eyes closed. Tulip and Atur had named his dead sister Fierda. When his eyes opened, they were filled with tears. He sat down by Amber, sobbing.

Amber hugged him, letting his head rest on her shoulder. She gently stroked his head, whispering calming words.

Sagea was about to have another cub yet they were unsure when.

Emalf's sobs soon turned to sniffles as he let his face burrow into Amber's fur.
