Iist was surprised that she wasn't advised to run away from the area. As she watched his ritual for danger, she walked to Uje, rubbing his head to try to bring him back to attention.

The whirlwind disappeared in a flash, along with the pentagram. The mage's body glowed red for a second and it faded as he turned back to you guys. "Well, now that's done, we can get to the proper things." He announced, pushing down his hood and you could see his face fairly well, despite the dim lighting of the forest. "First point; why are you in this forest and why are you with Focus?"

As you put flowers into your hair, River glomped over and began fussing with it, making a beautiful floral arrangement and then herding you to the mountain. Again, there was the steep path to the top of the mountain and a somewhat flatter road to a gaping hole somewhere in the middle of the mountain.

Iist expected something more flashy and significant to happen, so she was surprised when it ended with what seemed to be a self-enhancement.
"Why ask that when you already read my mind?" She held a hand to her face where the man touched her, frowning again. "And even if you did read my mind...why would I tell you if I'm not sure if I can trust you?" She wanted to trust him, seeing as he hadn't done anything harmful yet (aside from Focus in her past), but with the nature of the forest and the warnings from the mirror before, she wasn't sure of him.
