"Wait!" Purfolium flared her wings, "Before we vote, I- I need to come clean."
She took a deep breath, "Even though I know I'll be targeted tonight I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't tell people what I know.
"I haven't been staying at home the past few nights. The night Strawberry died I stayed at home, but after that I knew I couldn't stand by. I've been interfering with Sylestis' actions. I followed Niki the night Jackie died, and Jackie died anyway, so it can't be her. But last night... I followed Snekly, and Esmeray is still standing.
"I don't know for certain if I was the one that saved Esmeray or if someone else has been running around at night, but I'm going to go with what I know and say that I vote for Snekly,"

"Well...I trust that Purfolium is telling the truth right now. However, I think if Snekly was the mafia, the mayor would have announced things differently," Haze says. She stands up and starts pacing around in thought.
"I think Esmeray was rather saved by the medic guessing on the wording. If the mafia was prevented from killing altogether, I think there would have been no known attempt in the first place. Of course, I don't know this for sure." She sighed in defeat.
"...I have unfortunately decided to skip voting once again until I change my mind."

Wait, no. Purfolium is covering somebody I was suspicious of, Niki, and they were the first to support their decision. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but now I'm suspicious of Purfolium again. Maybe she's trying to bait the medic into wasting their heal? Or maybe she just wanted to make sure Niki was innocent that time??? Arghh, I can't tell right now.

(Specifics of mayor announcement have nothing to do with what actually happened. I simply said there was an attempt because otherwise, no one would know who the intended victim was xP)

"Wait, sorry, let me rethink this." Esmeray narrows her eyes. "So, Snekly has a chance of being one of the killers, but I was definitely healed; I can tell you all that. The question that remains now is just if she was one of the murderers, or if the attempted murder was prevented purely by the Medic.
"Apologies, by the way, for accusing you earlier, Purfolium." She turns to the Zolnixi. Then, she adds, sheepishly, "And if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you tail Lucy tonight? I feel bad for asking a favour of you right after I almost vote for you, but I'm still slightly suspicious of her. And we'll be able to narrow the list down further, whether or not she's a murderer."
(Do our in-game characters know that some people are definitely villagers? Since it says on their forms)

As the bell tolled once more, the mayor rose and cleared her throat.
"It seems that we have come to a conclusion as to the identity of the murderer."
All eyes turned to the Vulnyx in question, but she did not make a move to defend herself.
"Snekly, please come here."
Feeling all eyes on her, yet unable to even attempt to escape due to the overwhelming majority of villagers turned against her, Snekly slowly made her way over to the mayor, who then beckoned her into a back room, seemingly never to be seen again.
"Meeting adjourned."
Satisfied with their decisions-- well, mostly, anyways-- yet still unsure whether another murderer still lurked among them, the villagers hesitantly turned to leave the courthouse. Today had been an interesting day, but it seemed that they would have to wait and risk another night in order to find out what the next day would hold.
Snekly has been eliminated!
(Unfortunately, Kittyauthor was unable to participate and thus couldn't defend Snekly this round, but we have to move forward regardless D:)
Night Phase 4 has begun!
There will be no in-game talking between anyone during this time, with the exception of the Mafia, who may talk amongst themselves via PM.
You may write your character going home or something for one post if you so wish, but that's about it.
- Mafia may discuss and decide on one person to eliminate during this time.
- Everyone else with a special role may also DM me the person they wish to act upon during this time. (If you're a Medic or Role Blocker, don't forget your cooldowns for acting upon the same person!)
- If you have a special role but are dead, you are not allowed to act. (Dead Mafias can still watch the PMs of their fellow Mafias, but they are not allowed to directly communicate with the other Mafia regarding the decision.)
- All other Villagers must sit tight and hope they don't die.
- This phase may last up to 48 hours in real time. If all people with special roles DM me with their action or specifically tell me that they wish to opt out of acting before the 48 hours are up, the phase will end early.
- If you have a special role and do not DM me within the 48 hours, you will be skipped.
