"You know men could adopt children, right?", Aidy pointed out, sitting up a bit. "Anyway, if you want a girlfriend, you know there's that one really tall chick that always wears a cloak right? You two seem like you'll get along." The Ishnu snickered at the thought of Alexander needing someone to bend down to kiss him.

He glanced at her. "....I can't decide if I want to punish you for saying that or take it as a joke And i'm not a man. Yet."

Aidy giggled. "It was a joke.", She smiled, relaxing on the couch. "You're right, we are still children." Aidy watched the ceiling, she sighed, loosing her cocky smile. She missed her family severely.

"What is it?" He groaned. Wondering about the sigh

"What was what?", She asked; her voice was melancholy for the first time in years. Aidy lifted her head so she could look at him

"You just sighed. And from what I can tell, you're one of those bubbly kids that like doigncrazy things."

"I just miss my family, wen the men came they didn't let me say good bye. They didn't even let the priest bless me.", Aidy mumbled, sitting up all the way.

"The priest?" Alex raised his eyebrows. "I'm guessing you lived with one, then?"

"Yeah, didn't I tell you that I did?", Aidy said, curling up into a ball. "He was a good man, he kept me safe from all of the racism, he treated me and my family like his own kin."
