You walk for a bit more, then come to realise you are in a cave. You get out of the river. There is a small lake in the middle, clear, with a bluish tint, and it glows.

'Thee is an evil spirit lurking somewhere in the valley. It leached all the magic of the valley, to destroy it. It seems it is just a host though, possibly something bigger is corrupting it. We once knew the evil spirit, but it changed. We wish for it to become themself again, but if they cannot, we must defeat it.'
