34 was sniffing around, but didn't smell anything abnormal

(srry I'm a little late) She stopped and her heart sank as she watched the girl go."I'll find my own...My own...Adventure." she murmured determinedly to herself.She turned around and walked down the hallway,her old combat boots making a clicking noise on the steel ground.She had a pocket knife in her hand,keeping it hidden from snooping eyes.The LED lights above her were flickering,giving the hall a creepy feel.

The girl stopped walking again, though she didn't really know why. She still didn't trust the girl, but she didn't want her to leave. "Wait" She said. "Maybe you should come to. You're not going to be able to leave this place alone, and neither will I" She turned around. "Also, I want to ask you some questions"

She stopped and listened to the girl and walked back."Okay!But...What questions?" She asked curiously and followed her.Another cold draft stirred her light blond hair and made her shiver.

"Oh, well you used to live outside the lab, right?" The girl asked. She was starting to regret her decision to talk. Her throat still hurt a lot.

"yes,I did.i lived with my father,but my mother took me away then sent me here because of this.."She gestured to her wings.

"Well, um, what's it like there?" She asked. She had never had an actual conversation with actual talking before, and it was awkward, but she was getting used to it.

"it's amazing!There's trees,blue sky's,grass,lakes..."she paused."have you...Have you ever been outside the lab?" She asked curiously.

The girl looked down and shook her head. "Anyway, that doesn't matter. What's a father? What's a mother? Why would you be sent here just 'cause you have wings? Plenty of people have wings. There was this one person who I saw earlier who had wings kind of like yours, and then a long time ago there was this one person I saw who had webbed wings. I think that they died, though"

"well....A father and a mother are the 'parents' that your born to.its how you enter the world.My mom sent me away once she found I had wings because she said I was a 'demon sent to take her life',as she was...Crazy..So to say.She hated me since she took me from my father.She only wanted to show my dad she was better at child raising than him.But she hated me and once she found out about this;" she guestured to her wings."she sent me here." She paused.Suddenly a question popped into her head."D-do you have a name?" She asked." Mine is Ashes."
