I quirk a smile at Amie, "I would love to bring you but I don't know how safe it is for children... I don't even think your mother would allow it."
I turn back to Amie's mother. "I really don't know how to get in either," I laugh sheepishly. "I just kind of wanted to see what all the fuss was about with the place."
You begin to wander down the path eyes trained on your surroundings. As you walk large blue flowers sprout right beside you, closing again after you've passed them. They appear to almost gravitate towards you.
You move forward through the blackberries using your stick to push the blackberries out of your way as you go. You do acquire several small scratches as you go, but other than that you make it several metres essentially unscathed.
Blackberries still span as far as you can see, though odd marks on the trees seem to mark a slightly worn trail under the blackberry coils.
The women blinks twice before she begins to run her hands through Amie's hair, quickly starting the beginning of a braid. You notice that Amie appears to be pouting slightly.
"Athya... well... It's said that that place was created to create perfect soldiers in both mind and body. Though no one's ever seen one, so I don't know how accurate that is.
Amie nods and adds to her mothers sentence.
"Yah! There's just a wall that goes wayyyyyyy up into the sky! No one can get past it..."

I keep moving forward, following the trail as best I can and continually glancing around for any sort of end to the brambles/.

"What do you mean, 'not again?'" I ask Kestrel curiously.
You move through the blackberries, obtaining more and more small injuries as you go. The blackberries still don't appear to have an end of any kind they just keep going and going way off into the distance.
However, peaking out from beyond some trees in the distance appears to be the flashing of a flickering flame. Maybe there's someone camping out here?
