It's actually probably a bit of a good thing that many got confirmed, when you think about it.

Well testing is finally picking up here :p Can't wait to see what the numbers end up being tomorrow *sarcasm*. Now that Italy is on full lockdown maybe they're having an easier time diagnosing the population?

Honestly, I feel bad. Here is why.
* People at my school are making fun of it, playing 'Infection' and calling it the 'Coroni' and making jokes.
* Nobody is taking action to use their brain, (a couple waited 2 hours in the hospital bc they thought they had it but they didn't know) and they have no common sense.
* My friend has 5 pets, (A bird, a dog, a cat, and MY 2 turtles I sold to her) AND SHE NEVER WASHES HER GOSH DARN HANDS!!!!!!
* Someone thought it was okay to steal a ton of masks and use them all for themself.
* People get too hyped or scared about it and self-isolate immediately after hearing it.
AND OH GOD IM ANNOYED!
Take action, wash your hands (yes, you), don't worry, it is only respiratory problems (struggle to breathe, like asthma, but more deadly), if you need a way to calm down, then compare Covid-19 to the Bubonic Plague.
I am sorry if this is incorrect, but it is 4 am rn...

Major League Soccer suspended it season for 30 days, the announcement coming less than 24 hours after the National Basketball Association suspended its season. Source
Running out of tests already?:
The push to increase testing in the U.S. for the novel coronavirus that causes Covid-19 has hit a new stumbling block: shortages of key chemicals needed to start up and run the tests.
But the U.S. has lagged even as the virus has started to spread there have been 647 cases of Covid-19 in the U.S. and 25 deaths so far having conducted only 5,000 tests to date. (Notice the case numbers are off, this article is from two days ago.) Source
Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Anthony Fauci told lawmakers Thursday it was a "failing" of the American healthcare system that, unlike in some other countries, not everyone is able to get a coronavirus test if they want one.
"The idea of anybody getting it easily the way people in other countries are doing it, we're not set up for that. Do I think we should be? Yes. But we're not," Fauci said at a House Oversight Committee hearing on coronavirus response.

So not only were we late with the tests, but now we've only done about 5000 and are already running out of components.

I found this wonderful website.
Their list goes thusly:
1.Don't panic, but be alert.
2.Wash your hands often and practice good cough and sneeze etiquette.
3.Try to touch your face as little as possible, including your mouth, nose, and eyes.
4.Practice social distancing, no hugs and kisses, no handshakes, no high fives. If you must, use safer alternatives.
5.Do not attend concerts, stage plays, sporting events, or any other mass entertainment events.
6.Refrain from visiting museums, exhibitions, movie theaters, night clubs, and other entertainment venues.
7.Stay away from social gatherings and events, like club meetings, religious services, and private parties.
8.Reduce your amount of travel to a minimum. Don't travel long distances if not absolutely necessary.
9.Do not use public transportation if not absolutely necessary.
10.If you can work from home, work from home. Urge your employer to allow remote work if needed.
11.Replace as many social interactions as possible with remote alternatives like phone calls or video chat.
12.Do not leave your home if not absolutely necessary.

There are currently 21 cases of it in Oregon btw. My husband just found out 5 mins ago he gets to work from home along with his other coworkers. Some others aren't so fortunate to be able to do so

Thank you, I appreciate the numbers but I'm strictly counting *new cases* for each state being reported by the day.
