he stared at the wolf and whispered. "Famous last words!" and sat as far away from the wolf pup as possible

he got up and picked the wolf up. "well then BEN if you don't like the pup i will sleep outside with him and you can have a nice SAFE rest. we will see who has the better sleeping arrangement ben." he then exited the hidden campsite without touching the food that had been prepared but he sounded fine about that.

he stopped three places away from the entrance holding the pup. the moon was out and high in the sky he turned to face you. "you want something your majesty?" he asked as he carefully put the pup down so it could run around

"he is afraid of wolves because he stupidly crawled down every hole he could find and got bitten by one. and he dislikes them because i went down the exact same hole and came out holding all the pups and the two wolves that were down their didn't care at all." he said calmly. "and i am just going to sleep next to my horse. i will be nearby and making sure that this little guy doesn't get into trouble. honestly, what was that wolf thinking giving me one of her pups ridiculous!" he mumbled a little and then stretched winsing at the pains from his injuries that have healed remarkably fast.

She sighed, clearly seeing that there was no convincing him. " if you say so. But please stay safe. " she turned, walking back to Ben and climbing back inside. " hes sleeping next to his horse. "

he put his soup down suddenly having no appetite. "it's not just that its a wolf. it looks so much like Hendric that im afraid its a familiar wolf. if its a familiar wolf then Hendric will not want to let it go and might die if the wolf dies. i don't know much about familiar animals but i know they are both a blessing and a curse to have..." he then stared at the fire glumly
