Suddenly she saw something flash in the corner of her eye.She walked back over to the window and saw someone standing in the hallway.Her mind sparked with hopefulness and she knocked on the window of the steel door."hey!" She yelled."Can you get me out?" She started to feel claustrophobic,and started pounding the door harder."please!Open the door! Let me out!" She screamed.

The girl jumped back. She was uncertain of what to do. People were dangerous. They were untrustworthy, letting you lose your guard again and again just to stab you in the back. She started to walk away, ignoring the girl. She was about to turn the corner, but for some reason she couldn't. Keeping her head down, she ran back to the door and began to unlock it. She pressed her head against the number pad lock that unlocked the door and closed her eyes, focussing on its mechanical hum. After a minute or so, she pulled her head away and typed a series of four numbers slowly into the machine. She stepped back and held her breath. A second later, the door opened with a small clicking sound. Satisfied with her work, the girl began to walk away again.

She watched the girl walk away and her hopes dropped.then she saw her come back and heard the door click as it opened.her jaw dropped and she tentatively pushed it open.her blond hair swished around her head as the girl walked away."hey wait!Come back!" She said and walked after her,unfolding her wings and flying behind her as she walked.

The girl sped up as the other girl began to follow her. "leave me alone" She said, her voice hoarse. "I have to find Itri. No time for people"

She turned her head to one side."oh...." She said."I'm sorry if I'm bothering you.but,...Who is Itri?" She asked as she fell to the ground and stopped.

The girl exhaled with frustration and stopped walking. "He's a person that I know. He's the only trustworthy person, so I'm finding him. I don't want to go back to my room, but there's nowhere else to go. Itri will know what to do. Hopefully he isn't with that adult that always follows him around. He wears a lab coat which makes him especially untrustworthy"

Her eyes glimmered with mischief."can I come? I can help you..." She began,searching for words. She looked around the small steel walled hallway.She couldn't stretch her wings to full length. She couldn't escape by flight, but she could run.

The girl shook her head. "I don't trust you" She said, her voice still hoarse. She began to walk again.

Oh, and let me know if you smell anything that smells like a little girl with scales because I want to make sure that she isn't running around getting herself in trouble" He led 34 down the hallways leading out of the back section of the lab while still carrying Itri, who was trying not to fall asleep.
