you have cursed yourself by allowing me to make space designs xD

51 pegasi b


i chose 51 pegasi b because i really love the coloring of the planet. i know i'm not huge on yellow, but light tints of it have always had a place in my heart. the range from gold to bright yellow to a beautiful shade of yellow-orange really catches my eye, and i love it :) the planet is in the constellation pegasus, and orbits the star 51 pegasi. it was discovered in october of 1995, so it hasn't been discovered for too long ^-^
restricted trait used: frost dragon marble

monkey head nebula (ngc 2174)


i chose the monkey head nebula for several reasons: i've never heard of it before, humans are related to monkeys, and nebulae are cool. i mean just LOOK at the color palette. beautiful. but anyway, this nebula is located in the orion constellation, above the star betelgeuse. it was discovered in 1857 by karl bruhns

I want to thank each of you thus far that have participated with in this challenge. Below you will find the designs and designers that have been deemed eligible for possible placement for TOP 3. Each design has been reviewed and has met all requirements for this week's challenge. Please take a look. If you don't see your design it could be because you did not submit one yet, it did not make this round of updates, it did not meet the requirements, and or another reason entirely. Sure no problem. I will work on updates very soon to add all. I am awaiting word back from another member as soon as I hear from them on the error they found, I want to fix that and work on the updates all together.

The fire and ice nebula you have is a real nebula. It is called a bug nebula, also known as demise in fire and ice. So yes it counts. :-) Nice find.
