Knuckles closed his eyes for a few seconds. He moaned quietly and grasped the branch tighter. How late was it? He looked up at the sky, and, judging by the position of the moon, it was about ten. He huffed and looked away.

Eclipse puts a blanket on her chao and jumps into the fireplace. {Ahh feels so good not like lava but I needed the fire rest.} [I forgot you need to regulate your temperature every now and then.] [Yeah I would prefer Lava but hey I can make myself a lava bath in my room. I will ward it to keep everyone out of it. I am a fire creature so i'm fine with fire and lava. Ice though...i'm screwed with the cold.] Eclipse lays down with a happy sigh. Fire sweet sweet fire. Yeesh with her problem people would think shes a snake...oh wait..she has a bit of snake in her she has venom.

The echidna looked around once more. he shoulda thought through this better. Well, he couldn't back out now that would probably blow his cover entirely.

Eclipse gets up and looks out the window and sees the sun is just starting to rise. She wakes up her chao and leaves. She goes to the destroyed robot first and strips it down and stores it. She is in her true form while doing this. She wonders what to do next and decides to jump in a lake to clean her fur of oil and dust.

Knuckles woke up, eyes half open. He thought he heard something and looked down. Shrugging, he slid down the tree and walked to a stream a little ways away. That's when he felt it. he flicked his head in the direction the signal was coming from, but it was faint, distant. he climbed back into the tree and waited.

Eclipse walks to the stream and jumps in. It's cold but she can deal with it better cold and a bit slow then have itchy fur with fleas and ticks. Eclipse sits in the moving water and scrups her fur watching as the dirt and other things flow away her fur was once a dark black color is now a lighter shade and shiny. usally she only has time for quick jumps in the water sit for a few seconds then jump out. not very thorugh but kept the parisites at bay. She purrs happily though a lava bath is so much more thourugh and would kill all parisites and anything else.

Knuckles watched Eclipse with anticipation, namely because his treasure senses were going haywire. This demanded further observation.

Morning air, so fresh and perfect. How Sonic could breathe normally at this speed, he would never know. What time was it, 5:30? Max? He looked down at his watch. 5:47. He looked ahead, and what do you know? Eclipse.
He didn't stop running but passed her by. "HiEclipseByeEclipse!" He said, jumping the stream and continuing on.

Eclipse jumps and glares at sonic. She sighs and cleans the jewel around her neck. Its blue shine coming back from it's dull dark blue almost black. [[I need to clean your jewel more often chaos]] [Well I can't tell if its dirty or not.] Eclipse grins and looks at the jewel closer. [[It matches your color chaos.]] [It does? I never knew thats amazing.]

Typical Sonic, Knuckles thought, shaking his head. He kept watching Eclipse, silently observing. She kept looking at her necklace for one reason or another. Well, no use in hiding any longer. He put on a "Shoot what was that?" face, and slid down the tree, purposely stumbling and excessively blinking to make it look like he just got up. He walked off without a word.

"If we're gonna be a team, we have to be able to trust each other. That also means no more secrets,"

Eclipse Rolls her eyes at knuckles over reacting she knew he was up in that tree she just ignored him. Her hearing was very sharp if not bat like. Eclipse wishes she could tell him about Chaos but his anger and hatred would blind him to who Chaos really was. After all it was not fully Chaos's fault for the echinda massacre but the M.E's anger flowwing through him and being awoken prematurely. Its a wonder why chaos was so unstable. The chaos emeralds did not help either. Seems being so connected to the most powerful things on this planet is not all that good for your health. Becoming a monster hellbent on destroying the echidnas is one example. the other being kinda controlled by the chaos emeralds,except the purple one the purple one is very...calm slash kind,and being very pissed of yourself. Also having a fat man stalk you is also aggrevating. [[Why did you follow eggman anyway?]] [The dude was stalking me! I had to just to get him to leve me alone. I hid in a freaken frog for M.E's sake but nooo he still found me. He blasted me out of M.E by destroying M.E man was it in pain from that which put me in pain as well.]
