Cherokee smiled grimly and picked up the spear, shooing Jester backwards and away from the dragon and patting it on the nose gently before using the spear to cut through the vines. She stepped back after.

You climb up and as your about to keep going a sharp beak taps your foot. not enough to make you bleed but it's hard enough to make you stumble. however your strong enough to hold on and keep climbing.

You cannot find anything. however the door is getting closer. the corridor stretches out in front of you.

The next branch is to the other side of the tree. you'll have to jump for it. or you can try and think up an alternative.

I see if I can wrap my legs around the tree and pull myself up that way, and if that doesn't work, I try to at least reach for the branch before I jump for it
