I go for the owl hole. It at least has somewhere to put my foot and the creature will be farther in the hollow so I can't hurt it

You climb up and as your about to keep going a sharp beak taps your foot. not enough to make you bleed but it's hard enough to make you stumble. however your strong enough to hold on and keep climbing.
