"How can we trust him!" Nina hissed at the others. She didn't think they should go after this griffi. It would be too dangerous! Especially with the griffi's power. She wanted to go back to Apollo right now.

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

Ainsleigh winked at Blue as she responded to Nina. "We don't have to trust him," She replied while starting to disrobe her equipment, "If you'll notice, there is really only one direction to take. At the rate things are going we may even have a harder time fighting our way out than we do going deeper in anyway." It wasn't a very reassuring comment, but she hoped it would help Nina to stop focusing on home. "Besides, we have a job to do, and nobody has said what the consequeces would e if we fail this mission. Might be we are proving our responsibility to keep those little ones. You'll do better remembering your job than the hovering of little paws about your nest." She said to give the ryori something else to consider rather than running away from a fight. Five's mute conduct wasn't doing any good to settle down Tatsu frenzied condition. He glared at the other draeyl and sneered, baring his teeth. But rather than hiss at him, he got up to aid his mate at getting out of her gear. "Ember, Mirai, either of ye got a net or a sack/" He asked while helping Ainsleigh out of her gear. He made a few suggested touches on his mate to make her hiss a little. Though he looked angry, he was really displaying a devilish smile at Ainsleigh. "Get all this packed up and I'll take it up into the rafters up there. He said pointing to the high ceiling where no clocks or cogs decorated the overhead wood beam.

Blue nodded agreeing with Ainsleigh's comment " Besides trust shouldn't be your top priority, if he try's anything foolish we can always just kill him..." she said with a cold glare tossing her garments and sword to Tomen who flew to the rafter placing her stuff with Ainsleigh's. The vixen smirked with a devilish flick of her tail " besides i'm not about to quit when there's more fun to be had" hearing his comment on the boss.

Nina nodded stiffly. She sighed and looked at Ainsleigh. "Okay." Nina said and she tried to clear her her mind. She needed to stay calm at this point.

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

Ainsleigh and Tatsu both reacted instinctively to the thud, looking up from where the sound seemed to emanate. If it was coming from more than a story or two above them, then this opponent was likely a giant among its kind.

Ainsleigh turned her head and looked at Clockwork and Five. "Is ther another way up to sixteen other than the elevator?" She asked.

Tatsu had a feeling that Ainsleigh was planning to split them into two smaller teams to catch this monster in a pincer ambush. He was right, of course, but decided to wait rather than increase his team's stock of potions and elixirs until Clockwork or Five confirmed her suspicion.
