In the mist around you, you see faint ghostly faces with sunken eyes staring at you expectantly. There seemed to be no sign of your companions.

They swarmed you, grabbing at your flesh. One began to bite at your shoe, but your shoe provided a bit of protection against it's teeth.

As you swatted at one and tried to run, they dissipated into mist. The most receded and you found yourself lying flat on the ground with trees above you. Your travelling companions were in a circle around you, looking worried. River was nudging at your face and gave a relieved whinny that you were finally awake.
