Nina tried her best to focus. She hoped the draeyls hadn't noticed her. She was ready attack if she needed to. She would do it for her friends. But mainly it would be for Apollo.

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

Ainsleigh's eyes twinkled with the spark for battle. She didn't like being called a liar even when she was trying to bluff. This whole thing was starting to smell of one big trap. Like a spider web, the closer you got to the center the more difficult it would be to get out again. "You lot keeping telling us we are going to die, but so far all of the opposition we've seen is pretty dismal." She confessed to #6 plainly. "Before we do this though, she asked the draeyl female, "Are all of you gladiator slaves, or do some of you actually give a darn about this master of yours?" Ainsleigh herself looked calm, cool and collected as she asked this, but inwardly she was a coiled spring ready to cut #6 in a heartbeat.

Ainsleigh may have been wrong about the slaves not knowing one another, and possibly risk moving herself into harm's way by taking point in this situation; but the strategic value couldn't be discounted. She had positioned all of the slaves that had come with them along their perimeter in this hallway, so the party had control of the space in the middle of the hall. Ainsleigh's moving up forward but still within Tatsu's shadow not only allowed her to deny mobility to #5 and #6, but would allow Nina to sneak up behind #5 & 6 and catch the biggest threats in a pincer.

Tatsu meanwhile was slow to understand why his mate was putting herself at risk. He trusted that she knew what she was doing, afterall, she put 46 and 387 against the wall and Tomen and Blue on his flanks. He guessed that if the slaves attempted to start an attack he could stun these two against the wall with a wing strike so that the two zolnixi's would make short work of them. But Ainsleigh hadn't swished her tail freely to signal that she was ready to fight just yet.

6 thought about the question before answering "Some follow him for his power, some follow him for the promises he makes, some follow him because they feel their life is pointless... I follow our master because I owe him for saving my life"

5 growled and tried to hit 306, but he dodged. 387 used her chains to hold 5 back and 349 used used his gravity magic to keep him from moving. Then Mirai, 46, and Ember attacked him. 5 retaliated by biting Mirai's wing and throwing him against the wall, Ember struck 5's tail with her axe "Hey! Idiot over here!" She yelled, 5 broke from the chains and swung his claw at Ember. She dodged and ran around him, 46 began making small explosions around him. 6 tried to hit Ember with a dagger, only to get attacked by 54.

Blue and Tomen didn't leave Tatsu's side, but they both were tense and ready to release on command. Blue sword at the ready and Tomens feet already melding with the shadow

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

Ainsleigh reacted quickly bringing her right claw up with radiant blue magic to hit 6six at point blank range with permafrost about her neck and chest. From the center frost bite began spreading and its cold shock was followed through by the tiger claws shattering open her throat as they ripped into her freezing flesh and letting Ainsleigh face her front towards five after the slash. With any luck Nina would mop up. Already the slaves were attacking the large steel bodied male; whom Ainsleigh though was a shame to slay, but die he must if he was going to get in their way.

"It's showtime guys!"Tatsu said to Tomen and Blue as he advanced on five.

His claw strikes only glanced off of the metallic like scales, although his silver plated claws were scratching deeply into the metal scales and sloughing them off, it was too little to be effective. He would have to move in and engage five hand to hand and use his stickier size and the bigger male's mass against him.

Wings spread to blind five's view of what the others were going to do and Tatsu moved to grapple the nig creatures arms. Even so his til was posed to slap at legs or five's tail so he could keep his sure footing and lower center of gravity advantage.

5 roared and hissed, he was about to attack but was interrupted by a chain pulling his foot. He turned around and walked to the other room, completely ignoring anything else.

Something could be heard past the other room.

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, Tic- CRACK

Blue and Tomen swirled around to opposing sides of the large male, Blue smirked and put up her sword as she skidded to a stop," Covered and metal, huh! let light you up then!" there was an energetic fire in her eyes not anger or the will to survive, something different, almost like pleasure. Tomen had stopped as well and slammed his shadow covered paws in the stone floor dark black ribbons entangling and restraining the large male, though the male was strong and Tomen wouldent be able to hold long, but long enough to let blue get in a few hits.
o the other side of five Blue was firing up a long distance shot concentrating all her electricity to the tip of the snout between her open jaws after a moment a dense ball of blue sparks formed and with a flick of her tail she released it at the restrained males side hitting a dense spot of metal scales. turning their opponent into a lightning rod. After blue landed that hit both her and Tomen preceded to circle number five. Blue with her sword sparking, and Tomen merging with the floor showing only a shadow of himself. only to stop when they heard the loud Crack...

5 walked past the next room a empty hallway, at the end of the hallway was two giant doors. 5 broke both of doors and walked in.

The room filled with clocks, all of which seemed broken, there were also many strange devices scattered around. In the middle of the room was a table with a stool next to it, a Zolnixi was sitting on the stool, it looked like he was fixing a broken clock.
