She very quietly slid down the other side of the rock making sure she didnt make a sound when she reached the ground, her feet pressed against the warm rock which sent a satisfying feeling threw her body she tip toed away from the rock moving past loose pebbles and such

Ugh. Rocks - rocks and dead trees are all you see.
Some of the rocks, however, appear to have holes dug that lead underneath - but you don't know if anything lives in them.

she sighed loosing a little hope in were she was, she didn't trust the holes and from the looks of it there was no water for miles, she whined lightly sitting down under a slim of shade created by some rocks

The shade does feel kind of nice - at least, the coolness is better than the feeling of the sun blasting you.
The pup wakes as you sit and pops it head out of the bag, yawning.

Runs after her, exited to play with another person for once that wasnt food

The pup wobbles on its feet as it takes a few steps, then slides to the ground.
Giving a yip of determination, it gets back up, puffing out its coat.
