Thank you so much! Sorry I didn't reply before, I spent the last 2 days following a 10-yr old around Hanoi and am still completely knackered lol. The Vorpa boy is perfect, and I'm glad you were able to meet your diamond goal :D

You live in Hanoi? There's like a bridge there connected to islands. It looks beautiful in night time. And the view of the hotels in Tay Ho District is breath taking. It's like a modern version of Venice ^_^

I'm a volunteer teacher of English in Tuyen Quang city for the next 3 months, and on Monday I went to visit Hanoi with another volunteer, a 10-yr old student/ family friend and her mother for one night :) I'm sure it is beautiful at night, but unfortunately there was a torrential thunderstorm and the city flooded! So we were stuck in our hostel, trying to sweep the water out every time a car attempted to come past lol. It was one hell of an experience! We did see a lot during the daytime though, so that was nice :)
