Same as many others have said, I'd appreciate your comments.
Constructive criticism will help me improve, and I want to improve, so please, say what you want to say.
Thank you for caring enough to point out mistakes/things that can be improved upon.

Alright, here comes the comments, you can just scroll to your entry if you want, or you can have a look through others, also, some of the comments, are actually a mix of mine and some other users when we looked through them all together...

Also be aware I am trying NOT to think about WHO drew it since it may end up too 'biased' if i judge and comment on it while knowing who drew it....so this is why I am using numbers instead to indicate each piece instead of usernames...

(as well admittedly I forgot who drew which one for some of them since i've compiled them all to one thread post...I am, just purposely not trying to keep looking back at who drew which pieces as I'd like to have kept my commentaries unbiased and 'clean)

but mmph.. *flops* don't kill me @_@

First off, that is some really awesome fur skills there, it looks like it must have been a pain to work with. I also love the lack of lines present in there, as well as how you simply used shading to give a feel of depths in it. I also do like the dark dreary looking background and the light glow to her fur.

However, other than the stripes on the back, I cannot exactly see how this is the character Miseria, since she's white and black coloring and this wolf here looks more gray if not anything else as it is pretty hard to see the different colors too clearly.

Hey, good job, its pretty nifty for a traditional media. I also like how you paid attention to the bit where I wrote that Miseria had a muscular front. Also, I am not sure if you intended to, but I like the exaggerated features you did for your canines as well as you've copied some aspects of how she looked in her reference sheet, so its pretty cool how you dropped the normal canine anatomy. I also like how she looks worried about the Shadow beast. As well as I love the Shadow Beast's menacing grin and how you gave it a red nose.

However, the muzzle and the red eye half of the face looks a bit off. She's looking to the right side (my right) but her muzzle seems to tip off to the other side, which does bother me a bit. As well as the back and belly's anatomy too 'smooth'. Perhaps if there was a bit more fur and along her back as well as a bit of a curve to back and then a bulge to indicate her rump would be good. As well as her belly's thickness does make her look *cough* pregnant, lol.

First off, I like how you did the shading for this one as well as I like your head's anatomy. The concept of drowning underwater is quite an interesting way of depicting Miseria. Also, I had to double back and take another glance and realized you have a huge shadowy figure of the Shadow beast along the back.

However, there is an issue with that tail however, its very thick and look as if Miseria wouldn't be able to exactly carry her weight if she walked around on land with that. Also, i'm not sure if you intended to have her face to convey a bit of a determined feel or not, as well as the fur for her back of the tail looks kind of rubbery instead of furry.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.
Wow, I actually really like the shading, the anatomy, the facial features and the details gone into it, as well as the simple background as well how you had the shadow piece appear to be a drop of blood in an hourglass-shaped background. I don't really have anything else to say about it though...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.

I like how you've exaggerated the canine features. I also like how you put them in a dark misty background with Miseria looking scared with the shadow beast looking as if its ready to devour her.

However, I have to admit, if I was someone who did not know the character, I...probably would have at first thought I was looking at a kangaroo or maybe a rabbit at first glance. As well as the top of the jaws look too thick and long for the bottom of the jaws to fit down nicely into. As well as the paws, I am wondering if you intended to give them a webbed paws feeling, and the shadow beast's right paws resemble more of clawed hands than paws as well as her hind leg's positioning looks...rather painful to be in @_@

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.

First off, I love the toonish feel and the details, shading that has gone into it, and the emotions are spot on, if I were to cover half of the face, for each side, It seems to tell me a completely different story and emotion. I also like how you've used thorns and roses for it as well as the glow is fantastic.

However, i am curious, about the rose in the middle, I feel as if you could have made it seem as if it was burning up/withering away from the fires from the shadow beast's side. Also, I do feel you could have added more depths and work into the roses as there seems to be a lack of it on the roses, it looks almost flat. Other than that, it seems alright.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.

Its not bad, and its a pretty good effort. However, I do feel kind of bad that I can't see some of the details on it. Maybe it may have been the angle of the camera. Do you have a scanner or not? Am curious.

Anyways, there is an issue with the blood moon, it looks a bit like a bloody potato-cheese. As well as i feel you could have opened the mouth a bit more for the howling and the coloring looks rather messy as well.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
8.

I found your way of shading rather curious. As well as I like how you've made her look helpless and frightened as she is surrounded by the menacing shadows. The touch of blood on the floor was a great addition by the way.

However, the hind leg's anatomy looks off as well as the front right paw looks as if its broken. Also I felt the way of shading for the black fur is a little unnecessary as now it looks like someone smacked the black fur onto Miseria, like maybe she ran face first into some black fur or something. I suppose its also because the white part of her body you hadn't really indicated any presence of 'fur' on there so it has ended up looking rather solid so the black fur would look rather left out on it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
9.

Oh ummmm, I've already talked to the person who drew this piece by the way, so yeah...good try though! Its a cool background, the drawing is kinda cute and the lineart is pretty neat, oh yeah, the writing is pretty cool.

*disclaimer::: not really going to put any commentary on this one since it would end up being more cons than pros and I've already discussed this entry with the person who drew it...!*
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
10.

I like the mood and the shading gone in this. Also the forest in the background is awesome, and I like how Miseria has this defeated look in her eyes as she lays there with the shadow beast looking at her. I also like how you did the anatomy as well, the head and back fur really stands out to me alot.

However...only issue is that the shadow beast could also be seen as if its 'guarding.watching over her' if someone mistaken it for that. As well as, her eye colors are kinda on the wrong side as well as the hind legs look too slim. But other than those bits, its relatively ok.

"Its so cute/adorable!"

(someone told me to leave it at this and see what happens lmao)

*pats you on back* This was extremely helpful! Even if I don't place in this contest, I'll still leave happy, because I DID win some great advice and got to see so much beautiful and creative artwork. This is actually the second time I've drawn a wolf, and the first time I've lined, colored and shaded, so I really appreciate it :3

Ehehehe...I do have a weird shading style, I suppose. I wanted to incorporate a bit of warm and cool colors :P but I guess I got carried away, haha.

Your judgement is fair yet to the point, and views ALL aspects of the drawings. Whoever wins this truly deserved to win. Good job!

Hey, don't worry, your comment is really interesting :3
You're right, my Miseria's tail would be hard to carry... I didn't think about it when I drew it, so, yeah, it wouldn't work on the ground xD
And I tried to make her sad and scared, but I don't usually draw animals with feelings, so I suppose I will have to work on that :P
I also have a strange way of drawing fur xD that's why it look like nothing at all... Well, I may change that if I draw fur again :P
There are only a few people who have ever told me the defects of my picture, and that's really sad because it won't help me at all. So, thank you for that comment ! I'm happy I was able to take part in your contest ! :3

ohh, why wouldn't anyone tell you?

also, oops, i realized i forgot to add on, your back legs look a bit off, it looks like a rabbit's hind legs, i can't really...tell when it 'breaks off' into her back paws, and as well, your lines are kind of squiggly and the elbows look sharp, but other than that, its not bad.

Well, people don't want to hurt me, I suppose (and there aren't a lot of people who have ever looked at my pictures, too xD)

Ah, yeah, I don't like back legs, it's so hard to draw x_x

Well, if you do another contest, I'll probably take part in :D

(Ugh, I feel like my english is worst than ever)
