Slowly crawling one step closer the samily of rabbits once they decided to grass a bit. As he reached the last piece of cover he lay completley still just staring at the dinner to be. He did not even notice that myst was watching. The rabbits clearly felt something was wrong but couldnt decide were the danger came from. So the moment the animals turned around he dashed out from his hiding place. His atention fixed on the massive rabbit he noticed his pick of dinner was right on point as most times. The animal was clearly slower than the other rabbits that moved just as quick as a normal one would. As he felt his teeths sink into the body he quicklystoped them so he just held the wounded rabit, keen not to crush its spain and killing it. Carefully he held his head to the groundbefore putting a paw on the suffering rabbit.He carefully let go of the jaws before sniffing the animal a bit. As he came to the back legs of the animal he quickly crushed them as the rabbit desperatly tried to kick him. as the legs broke into pieces rendering them useless he could hear the animal squeel of pain.

Carefull, almost as if carrying a pup he picked up the rabbit before walking back towards Myst and the pups. This will be a great experience for the pups, and since he rendered the back legs useless then the rabbit is defenceless more or less. THe frontlegs isnt as dangerous so they can still stay intakt. And beside, his teeths have already done some damage to the animal so if the pups dont manage to kill it then the rabbit will die in time.

Mysty felt her mouth gape open, stunned and embarrassed. For once she realized what Rhory was doing she couldn't help but wonder how she hadn't started training the pups yet. Sighing heavily the alpha watched as the male gently picked up the struggling rabbit. A twinge of gratitude and also uselessness settled in her heart. There were so many small things that were passing over her head that could be helping the pups. Was it because she hadn't had her own pups yet or was she actually lime her mother and useless as a mother. A grimace slowly etched itself on her face, that was a scary thought.

Song smiled, "Indeed. As I said you are old enough to learn." She got up and stretched. "Come, we are dry enough to start tracking. By the time we draw close to the prey we should be dry enough to avoid drawing attention to ourselves."

Somewhere near a deserted snow land...

(Where am I? And what happened to me, am I dead?) Blackclaw wondered in his thoughts. He noticed that the wind was blowing like a storm. He looked down at the ground, then he looked at his paws and back. Snow covered him all over and some of his black fur seemed white. He shook off the snow and noticed that he wasn't near the Winterpack anymore. What will happen if his leader found out?

Blackclaw howled for his pack, he searched around the snowy waste land. He sniffed the ground, seeing that he was alone. He felt someone drag him, but the wolf the dragged them here was gone. Blackclaw looked back, he saw nothing but the blowing wind. It was a blizzard, and it was getting stronger and stronger the deeper he was inside of it. Blackclaw slowly walked through the blizzard, he was cold and hungry. Finding food was the last thing he needed to do. The wolf that dragged him into the blizzard was watching him, he was ready to attack.

Blackclaw was still carefully walking in the blizzard as the wolf barked at him. Blackclaw froze and saw the wolf. It was hungry looking, he ran towards the cold Winterpack wolf and leaped up and was about to land on him. Blackclaw got ready to attack it.

With the rabbit squeeling anf struggling in his jaws he calmly turned aroundto walk back to the pups. As he saw myst he begun to wave his tail gently. She seemed to be quiet upset, why she would be so he had no idea really. Worried he walked up to her, making a soft sound before gently buffing at her.The bunny confused and scared wet itself abit wich made him frown from the stench. As he did not get much of an answer he just looked at her before walking past her. His large paws took him to the two pups and he gave up and low sound wich was meant to mean "come". As the sound disapeared into nothing but silence he put down the rabbit between the two pups so they could play with it or try to kill it, either way is fine.

Mysty sighed, knowing her current mind set was not in any way helpful. So after a small pep talk she got up and walked to the pups in time to see Tia pounce on its back and sink her teeth into the rabbits nape. Terrin gave a noisy little howl, a hunt. Mysty smiled as Terrin leapt at full steam ahead in front of the rabbit as it tried to crawl away and quickly snapped his open jaws on the rabbits throat, it's shrieks of fear dying away. A few moments passed before all life drained from their prey. After they were done making sure the thing was dead they both barked, circling each other and howling their victory. Their tiny little voices brought a smile to the alphas face as the pups made her check their handy work. Having never hunted before she thought it was actually pretty good. Tia had made sure to make the rabbit immobile while her larger brother brought it down. Smiling the alpha looked at Rhodry " A decent kill for their first time,what do you think?"

The wolf was kicked into the snow by Blackclaw who was still feeling frozen from the snow that piled on him. He leaped on the hungry wolf and attacked it. Blackclaw slashed the wolf's throat and threw him into the icy water nearby. The hungry wolf growled and got back up into the snow and ran away.

"You better run!" Blackclaw yelled out loud. He heard other wolves coming, he stood there for a minute and then he continued to run through the blizzard, hoping to find shelter.

As the pups begun to notice the rabbit he sat down with the big fluffy tail around him. His ears pointed forward towards the small creatures. Honestly the rabbit were almost a tiny bit bigger than the pups, wich made hon smile a bit. Had he him self been that small? THat fragile and dependant on others? He knew the answer, yes he had been. he had been that small, he had been tht fragile and dependant on others. He knew it so well but it feelt weird, that him, sure he is only average hight and build, but still a pretty big creature had at one time been that small. As he heared paws walking bahind him he turned his ears towards the sound and looked back as Myst came walking. He nodded respectfully towards her before looking at the pups again. They sure seemed a bit shocked at first but about now their instincts kicked in. Tias instinkt to go for the nipe was really good althought her jaws still dont have the power to kill it by crushing it. As Tia bit the rabbit in the pine the young male, Terrin, rushed forward, it was kinda funny too look at. Seeing the young Terrin rushing as fast as he could seemed really funny since he rabbit only had its front legs left to use. But the instinct of the pups are without a doubt good. As the horrified squeels died out as its life left the rabbit he looked back at Myst as she spoke. "Indeed, it was a really good atempt for a first time." he agreed while looking at the pups that was acting really proud and really really happy about their first kill. A silent laugh left his mouth and he looked at the pups. Were they gona eat it or leave it be? Sometimes it can take pups some time to understand that they are suposed to eat the killed animal, specially in the begging since they get so happy and act like ... well ... pups.

Terrin smiled widely, having made the finishing blow he felt proud of the accomplishment, even if rigged. Tia spun around, just as excited but quickly got to the point and began eating. Having already been accustomed to eating straight from the source Tia had little hesitancy before going at the food like she was starving. Before she really got a chance though Terrin started nipping his sister in reprimand. "Ow, what was that for..." Tia gave her larger brother a nasty snarl but he stood perfectly still while saying " Alpha eats first." Mysty having heard that stared down at the pup in surprise and a bit of joy. She only hunted f them so she ate separately. They never had the rank discussion, and Terrin having just finished his first 'hunt' seemed to know automatically. With lips twitching she stood up and walked over, taking her first few bites before Tia started to whine looking up the alpha beckoned her young ward toward her. Tia immediately getting the message yipped her gratitude and licked her surrogate mother before digging g into the rabbit right beside her. That's when Mysty knee the little pup was going to grow to be a high ranking she wolf. Little hesitation, Tia had a natural confidence. Looking up mysty smiled at Rhodry before silently asking if he wished to join in on the small meal with a tilt of her head. Terrin barked happily before going back to his fish that remained largely uneaten.

Blackclaw continued on, the blizzard was getting to the point where it was at a low as he could run in it much faster. Blackclaw was finally out of the storm until he reached a high mountain that was blocking his path, he tried finding an easy way around it so that he didn't have to climb it.

"Nope, there's no getting around this mountain, I have to climb up to the top and then come back down." He sighed and started climbing up.
