The figure in front of the door cocks their head slightly and frowns, she looks rather mean and much like she came out her to rip someone's head off. A wave of power and pain washes over you as she takes a step forward. When she speaks you are pleasantly surprised, her voice is rather soft bordering on a socially awkward tone.
"Ah, hi?"
Her eyes scan your face with mild confusion for several seconds before they drift across to the figure sprawled against the wall. The girl you'd followed here points to her leg before making a grabby hands gesture towards the newer figure.
"Kes?"
The figure questioned taking herself over to the other girl's side. She fussed over her for a few seconds before hauling her up into her arms and standing up.
You take several steps inside the large wooden building drawing Amie behind yourself as you do so. Despite this, she still bounds forward to stand at your side with Marble still clutched close to her chest along with the book you'd brought her. To your surprise Fae also follows you inside, looming over top of you a bit like a bodyguard.
The lobby was rather empty. A young man sat at the counter leaning heavily back against a chair, arms crossed tightly over his chest. A large lion that appears to be on fire sits curled about his feet. He looks rather annoyed for whatever reason only offering you a threatening snarl as you entered.
Towards your right, in the far corner, a large black and white 'Vene rests curled up much like a cat. Laying right over the top of it without a care in the world is a younger girl with flowers threaded through her hair much like a halo. As you enter she perks up rolling half off of the 'Vene onto her elbows. She looks over at you with big sparkling eyes and smiles.
Amie smiles and waves at both of them before announcing the word 'hello' very loudly.
She looks up at you and squints, she looks to be taking in all of your features to better remember what you look like later.
"Yes, yes, I can do that!"
She drags her hand across the counter picking up the small gold coin before placing a small bag on top of the table. She opens it slightly and takes six silver coins out of it. She slides it towards you and pauses.
"You wouldn't happen to be from Athya, would you?"
You head back towards the town silently wandering towards the faint voices. Despite the voices becoming slightly louder they're still completely muffled and by the time you've made it to the town the voices suddenly seem to switch to behind you again.
What should you do?

I ask her about the worlds changing and all that stuff, and ask her to not kill me.
